Good question. Can't answer that. I don't have a favorite product yet. Still waiting to start my skincare routine next week. But i love one for irritated skin and sunburns, it's the cicaplast B5 baume, don't like so much the heavy texture. I look like a phantom when i put on face. Still deciding if i buy the gel version.

I agree with the mud mask. Huge pores is my #1 skincare focus. There’s no way to make large pores disappear, but that mask really does clear out the sebum and junk. So with the addition of retinoids to build back collagen, gentle exfoliants, and topical antioxidants so that the sebum doesn’t oxidize and block the pores again, my pores have shrunk to a more normal size that I’m (almost) completely happy with!

I only use the FECC. It took a while for me to put it as a holy grail as at my age, wrinkles are with me no matter what I put under my eyes, but this product has definitely improved them and maybe I have become more accepting of them too 🥰. I also have the face theory Azelazic acid in my stash to try 😁

Rob I appreciate your differentiated approach: it’s not about the cheapest and simplest options only but also about the most effective, even if they cost more. Some expected ones in your list like argireline and stratia. I though for body you would include the aesop body wash, and also maybe some time ago niod cleanser would have made it. Argireline all the way for me too!

I adore the Lacura Vitamin C but I always thought it contained ethylated vitamin C (3-o-ethyl) so a derivative rather than the pure form ascorbic acid. At a 15% concentration, it's a great serum and packed with lots of other goodies as well.

I love the fact that you have a product from Aldi and products from NIOD in the same top ten list. This proves that you look for great ingredients and efficacy, and are not impressed by brand names or price. I will be going to our local Aldi to look at the skincare products!!❤️❤️
@cherylreitz47792 жыл бұрын
be warned the products have a lot of fragrance it is a shame cause otherwise they are decent but my skin could not handle the heavy fragrance in the products. Plus I noticed at least at my Aldi's here in the states we dont get a lot of the products they do over in Europe. Last time I was at my local Aldi, they had no Lacura skincare. Good luck!

@@Patti-1962 your welcome hey things might have changed recently but I can never find Lacura products at my Aldi stores in my area anymore and like I said they did have a lot of fragrance in them when I could find them. Hi Rob I need youtubers to stop mentioning the Altruist 10% cream - since Wayne mentioned it I can't get hold of it and I have used it since it was released well over a year ago. My dry eczema prone skin loves it and I currently can't find it to buy anywhere lol. A few of my HG 10/10 products are: The Altruist cream that I can't restock at the moment - I use it on the face, neck and chest as a night cream or sleeping mask. The G&G Agame10 - my favourite retinoid that doesn't upset my rosacea too much (please note though I have been using retinoids for a few years now). The Avene Physiolift eye cream (retinaldehyde for the eye area) - rich and buttery, but suitable for the eye area. I apply a tiny margin of vaseline at the lashline as a barrier, then apply this to the eyelid and undereye. Avene antirougours refreshing cleanser - super gentle cream cleanser. I can even use this during a rosacea flare when most cleansers burn/sting the skin. It's a can't be without product in case I have a flare. Niod modulating glucosides - my current favourite serum. It helps with redness (rosacea) and feeds my dry skin with antioxidants and peptides. Prescription azelaic acid 15% - works fast on any pimple and really helps the redness from the rosacea. Boots expert care eczema therapy - a gel/cream texture I use as a thick serum or emulsion step. It's full of ectoin and super hydrates me in a way HA etc doesn't. A 30ml tube at full price is £9.99 and it just works on my skin - enhancing any moisturiser used over it. PC spf30 Calm normal/dry - even during the worst rosacea flare I can still use this spf without burning/stinging. That's it - my can't be without products. I flit around trying toners, essences and moisturisers regularly. I have a few favourites, but none are really HG status. Best wishes.

Hi Loraine happy new year to you 😊I know this post is a couple of weeks old now and you’ve probably have bought it since, butI if not Amazon and just my look stock altruist 10% urea cream, just a thought. Also I know what you mean when a product gains popularity it’s normally followed by a price hike, I hope not though because it’s the only one I use. Take care 😊
@lorainemcgillivray772 жыл бұрын
@@monicaduncan7109 Thanks I have kept an eye out and finally got a hold of it from a restock lol. A happy new year to you also and hoping it's a calmer year with calm skin for you. I appreciate your attempted help though very much. It's a bummer when you can't get the item you want as it's sold out everywhere lol. I think it's a great texture and far less sticky than most 10% urea creams. Best wishes.

The can't live without product is actually new to me. I've been using it for just a few weeks. I have the most extremely dry skin AND I'm allergic to all tree nuts SO no coconut, almond, macadamia, argon, macula, etc. It is so hard to find skin care for very skin without these. ENTER....The Ordinary 100% Squalene!!!!! I slather that stuff all over my face sometimes multiple times a day. I LOVE it and would be so upset without it.

I know it's not cruelty free but E45 cream was recommended by my derm and honestly it's a transformative product although the ingredient list is not really exciting the product itself is really calming soothing repairing, effective in as short as 48hrs to relief any rash or itch, it's soooo cheap considering the amount you get ( one pump covers ur whole face and neck ) , I LOVE IT because it saved my skin several times. BTW Rob not quite sure if you know but MakePrem is Not cruelty free and do sell in mainland China ( their products do get tested on animals) , they try to look CF but they're not, it's a great product tho❤

@@user-gn6hi8hz5w hi, really sorry forgot to mention it's the " E45 Cream " pump version 500g, there's a tube version of it but honestly I only recommend the pump and the gd thing about the packaging is that u can get through the whole bottle, I already emptied one bottle during winter, I don't use it as much now since it's summer in the southern hemisphere (Australia), but during winter this is my saviour 🥰

I love the Lumizela serum, but I find that it can be too moisturizing depending on what I layer with (I'm very oily). So on nights I know I'm already going to be using more moisturizing products, but I still want azaleic acid, I've been using the Inkey List azaleic serum. It's one of those that just disappears, and I'm able to layer it with no issues. I find I like the Face theory one in the morning just underneath my spf, as it kind of doubles as a lightweight moisturizer for me.

Dermalogica Ultracalming cleanser. All time favorite forever, and the special cleansing gel too, for being both a first cleanse and a pretty good one step cleanser. Medik8 liquid peptides - and potentially their cleansing oil - need to use it more, but omg. Their retinal is amazing too. Timeless 10% vitamin C, synthe 6 and matrixyl and q 10. Niod survival 0 ❤️❤️❤️ low viscosity cleanser is also fantastic, but maybe 9/10 because of the price.

Btw, i have ordered from Facetheory multiple times and both times I have been sent expired product. Email customer service and give them the batch number to check when it will was manufactured. They only last 1 year after manufacturing and within that time period, normally only 6 months after opening. Because of this, the absolute earliest you'd want it to be manufactured is 6 months ago, but preferably later. I think the company often sends out expired products hoping no one will notice.
