Thilda's Beinhaus Thanks for the pronunciation lesson! I honestly know ZERO German words (well, one now, since you've taught me!) And that's so AWESOME now that I know it means ossuary! I absolutely loved your video of this tag and I'm super-flattered that you took the time to watch mine.

You are too cute, I followed you on Twitter too!! The Paris Catacombs & the Capuchin Crypt in Rome are the only 2 Ossuaries I've been to. I also hoarded TONS of great vintage buttons at fabric stores in both cities back when I lived in Europe!

This literally digs into a concept I’ve been spreading for years. Bare with me please. Life is a strange word, it is both a noun and a verb. People ask themselves, what does it all mean? What is the meaning of life? But it's the wrong question. It is better to ask what in life has meaning. I hold a rose and I say it is beautiful. But if I peal away pedal after pedal I will never find that beauty. Because the world is a mirror. The beauty I saw was in me. The rose only reflected it, showed it to me. So if the meaning of life is to live then by definition that which truly has meaning are the things and people and places and experiences and knowledge that make us feel alive. So few I think ever learn this lesson. It is not the spaces in our hearts that we fill, but rather those we leave empty that weigh heavily upon us.

I have a NIN T-shirt with that same pic of Trent on the back. I got it at a concert in the 90s. The NIN logo on the front looks like bricks. It's one of my favorite shirts. NIN is one of my favorite bands. (Jan Griffiths).

Best 100 Tag video so amazing. Thank you ... Have you ever seen Psychoville series 1&2 and halloween special. & do you like Toad-in-the-hole its a yorkshire pudding mix with sausages and loads of gravy. Thank you enjoyed this 100 tag so much.
@MadameAbsinthe6 жыл бұрын
Hexalina I have not seen Psychoville! But if you think it's awesome, I will look into it. I don't eat sausage, so I can't say that I have ever tried Toad-in-the-hole, but I do have some veggie sausage in my fridge right now, so I will certainly make one up for myself and give it a try. It sounds amazing!

Me too! Baby goats are sooooo cute! Bridue and I go o a goat farm and pet the babies every spring. Have a vlog specifically about that, if you want some more awesome cute baby goat videos to watch!
@douglasgriffiths35342 жыл бұрын
I have 2 goats. They're almost like dogs, real pets. I've had them since they were babies. They're LaMancha goats, and have extremely tiny almost non-existent ears. They keep our yards short, and love to eat weeds (we have 3 acres). Both of them are fixed billy goats, and are 2 years old now. (Jan Griffiths).

You should check the "Ex-votos", they're a mexican cheese religious plaques made from people who want to thank some saint for a miracle, they are so funny. (Sorry for my english, I'm learning). Great video. You're awesome, by the way 🦇

Bad movie recommendation (if you haven't seen it yet that is) Howling 2. Christopher Lee is one of the main characters (you also don't need to watch the first one cause there is one character from it in the second one and the movie opens on their funeral)

I think I loved just about everything you mentioned. I like to make a vegan poutine and it's so delicious. It seems like a lot of Canadians gush about it. Is it really popular there (if so, completely understandable)? You're the one other goth I know of who's also obsessed with 1920s silent film fashion. I also use to have a vintage swimsuit collection, but had to sell it unfortunately. I feel like I can really relate to you a lot.

Sammantha Caldwell To be honest with you, I had a lovely white absinthe in a café in Paris that was absolutely amazing! But unfortunately, I didn't get the name of it. That was probably the nicest one I have tried so far.

Ayashi sama You should definitely try poutine. I don't know how I would live without it! I am nervous about the new Crow project. It always makes me worried when they try to take awesome old movies and redo them . . .it usually doesn't turn out very well. And no, I haven't read any of the Crow comics as of yet.
@ayashisamattv28336 жыл бұрын
Need to go looking around the Grand Duchy for place that might have it then ^^ same, even though O'Barr is incorporated I'm doubtful. I'd also rather have a movie based on the Flesh and Blood comics with the female crow. True, adaptations never fulfill the wishes of a fanbase

You like patches! Cool. In that case I have a question. I have some patches I want to put on a leather jeacket that I have, but theyre iron on. My question is, is it possible to sew iron on patches on instead of ironing them as I don't want to get the nasty crap on the back of them all over the jacket? I await your response with interest! ;o)
@MadameAbsinthe5 жыл бұрын
Yes! It is absolutely possible; in fact, I recommend it! I never ever iron patches on. They just don't stick that well and using an iron near leather isn't really a good idea anyway. You can sew them either by hand, or with a machine. You will be much happier with the end result; I promise!
@Feenix1025 жыл бұрын
@@MadameAbsinthe Thank you. :o)

@@MadameAbsinthe Supplementary question. As I will be doing this by hand, what sort of needle should I use? Are there special needles for leather? II know you use autopsy needles, but I probably won't have access those. ;o)
@MadameAbsinthe5 жыл бұрын
Yes, I use autopsy needles and I like them best! But since you don't have access to those, you can get special hand sewing needles for leather at stores that specialize in selling leather and leather products. I know you can get them at Tandy Leather, but you will have to look into what is close to you. It will make your life A LOT easier if you get a leather needle (they are shaped like mini triangles, with blades on all three sides for cutting through the leather), but if you can't find one, you can use a regular heavy-gauge needle with a thimble. It's just much harder to do it that way.
