Stef Burns is a giant musician. Vasco call him in '95 as a session player for the tour, but he touched the heart of italian audience with his passion and his sensible soul. Since then he hasn't left the band anymore. Almost every year he goes on tour in Italy, with his friend Claudio Golinelli (the bass player) and play his solo works and classic rock song. He found in Italy a new home, new affections and the Italians love him.

For many years Vasco's lead guitarist was Stef Burns, he played for many greats. Unfortunately he died, the last live appearance took place at the 1999 May Day Concert in Rome and the last playback at the Festivalbar in Padua on May 29, 1999. He died in Bologna on May 31, 1999 in his apartment in the historic center, due to of a respiratory crisis, following an injection of heroin. He was 36 years old. R.I.P.

I am not agree with who says he cannot sing, he can do it in high notes and equally in low ones, he put emotions in every word he sing and he transmits them to every one who listen his songs. Concerts fool of people who sing together every single word staying in hugs together with many vibrations and energy till tears and here he shows. If we had a scoring system in which we could score singers, many very successful artists/singers would actually score quite poorly, the reality is it’s not about how good the singer is per se but about the connection they have with the listeners. If we then go to a live environment, the charisma and stage presence are vastly more important than any singing ability. Of course the singer needs to be able to sing, Vasco is more than capable of that but his real strength is his connection with the listener, his charisma and stage presence.

This is such a desperate song.One of Vasco's saddest ones. It's about the struggles in our lives. The part in which he says: ' qui si può solo piangere, e alla fine non si piange neanche più' is totally hopeless and desperate, but so true. 'Here you can only cry and in the end neither that (you can't even cry, you cannot do anything to have the World the way you want. You can't fix anything.)
