One thing i think they NEED to add especially for franchise players is an update to the scoreboard where both team records are shown beside their logos. It adds another element of deep immersion into each franchise season. You see this in every scoreboard, in every game on Sundays. How can we get this idea across to EA?

A challenge system...that works ...u can't challenge spot of ball...catch or drops ,, inbound or out of bounds ,, offsides .....that's a major part of football ...penalty's and challenges

Personally I think this adds a little realism but this a game. With AI so literally they basically don’t mess up and I don’t think this will be able to get better unless you want the AI to cheat you.

A minor thing I'd like to see in franchise mode is that each week you only dress 48 players per game even though your roster is 53 man and have realistic roster/practice squad rules. Also I'd like to see both long snapper ratings and special team ratings for players. Often times a backup LB or WR will be kept for their special teams ability more than their positional ability, but in Madden it don't really matter

Can we get the dynamic weather and have weather actually effecting the game? Also have player get fatigue quicker on high tempt days and in cold weather have more dropped passes and kick distance decrease...also have cold weather without snow like on the ps2. Have footing bad and more dropped passes, harder to cut, throw distance/pass accuracy/kick distance decreased in rain

The tattoos are a big thing for me, NBA 2k gives them to you for free in the daily spin and WWE 2K lets you go nuts with customization. Madden and MLB the show need to catch up

the two things i wish was in madden that i think could be added pretty easily is situational practice modes, i want to go into practice on franchise or just in general and do a 2 minute drill on the practice field with different situations maybe you need a field goal/td/td+2 point to win. Also wish there was a 7v7 practice option on franchise to, which i get is just the yard but still. Those two things are happening daily with every team in training camp so i cant see why not have them as a different option for practices in madden to

Would love to see more presnap shifting and motion sets (not audible and manually motion) for teams like the 49ers and I assume now the Dolphins 2 minute drill Practice should allow you to move the ball progressively down the field without resetting field position Would also like to see pump fakes be more effective in freezing safeties and people in coverage maybe decrease their agility and quickness if they bite on fakes or play with the camera a little bit I think creating playbooks should be a thing (start it in franchise mode before using in comp games)

They need to just rebuild the game from the ground up. They just keep releasing the same game with layers on top of it to make it appear new. Make a whole new game and they’d be able to have everything in it

I think they need to add a mode where you can be a offensive or defensive coordinator and work your way up to a head coach also feel like they should let you accept other offer if you choose to if you get fired as a coach or if your contract is up

They should make quarterbacks more injury prone because I would hit a quarterback multiple times and no matter what there would be no injuries they should also add suspensions and actual injury prone players more able to get them some one who doesn’t get injured really

Olinemen should destroy DBs when they line up at the line of scrimmage. Once a 300lb guard gets his hands on a 190lb safety it should be a pancake or complete domination.

I've never understood....EA is able to have 4 officials on the ice in the hockey game. NBA 2k has 3 refs and MLB the show has 4 umps. Why is his so difficult on Madden? Same with sideline players... NHL has a quality bench (and penalty box)..why not Madden with their generic crappy sideline?

Great video as always, but there is no excuse for Refs not being in the game…nor them not being able to be added. EA has had the exclusive license for many years now and still lack the old features that made Madden incredible on PS2 era and still doesn’t line up to the features and gameplay of 2K5. Would have been nice to have some new modes/touches to honor John Madden as well. Instead it seams like this will be another incremental update to the game. Keep killing it Rayweather! I think it would be nice for them to add a tutorial to skill based passing when you open it up. I also think it would be nice of them to add weekly little updates like what they did with rating adjustments every week. I wish they do that with cotracts as well as doing it later in the season rather than having inconsistent updates

What would be fun is if you can had challenges to compete for a Captain Position, earn C patches and be able to have some influence in off season decisions! That would make it very dynamic. For franchise and FOTF. Even as a Rookie. This would be dope as a player, a sort of Brady Fever. Other players can decide if they’re interested or not. I mean what is the purpose of the C patch of you just wear it and have no say so as a player, it means nothing.

The skill based passing reminds me of madden 13 passing. You could pass lead like crazy and abuse it to death. Was super broken. If its anything like that, and you remember it to a T....you're going to do very well. I'd bet my life its the same concepts.

I haven’t heard anything about the gunslinger update. Last year the ability was really good but had one big downfall. It has the same throwing arc so out of position defenders could deflect or pick off passes that should have been completely or not in their range

I’m very excited for this madden. I’m curious to see if the fieldsense feature will affect the gameplay. Madden also lacks on the little things that make the game enjoyable. examples are showing the record of the teams next to their logo, give more lines to the announcers, have multiple sets of announcers (like 2k) have different score boards like fox or cbs. They don’t need to be copy paste of cbs and fox but make it different than the normal one. An example is if it’s a playoff or Super Bowl game. Maybe even give a Monday night scoreboard. Add different things to the bottom ticker in franchise (breaking news, injuries, signings, etc) it adds more life to the game. Madden needs that little kick to real life and it would make it so much more enjoyable.

How cool would it be to get a POV perspective as a WR in Face of the Franchise Mode. Like you ARE the WR just to make it more realistic. It would also be cool if you had mutiple views of your player like an over the shoulder view, or like a birds eye view or a worms eye view.

being nitpicky but they need to add a long snapper position to the game. having long snappers at tight end can actually negatively impact franchise mode as most players pick up a higher overall for the 53rd spot, thus costing them more money, and thus messing with the salary cap. adding the LS spot will also force players to make tough decisions during roster cuts and/or trades and free agency periods

To me, as long as what they promoted works and is tuned and adjusted accordingly throughout the cycle. All the cosmetic stuff like refs and tats don’t bother as they are small things. But what they advertise should work. Like last year coach poaching didn’t work nor did progressive fatigue. These things were advertised. Slap for 23 I’ll hold them to that standard

I've long said, that if you consistently put safeties in a linebacker, you should get punished versus run plays. That should be the trade off. Because in the REAL NFL, teams would absolutely run the ball down the defenses throats if they ALWAYS came out with LB's out replaced by safeties.

I think people should be able to choose the same play as much as they want. They should just be punished for it, like if you call the same play multiple times all of your opponents should get 99 awareness every time you call that play again. I think they should just add a "Learn The Game of Football" feature for the ones who actually want to learn the strategies of football and the benefits of certain plays in certain situations. Instead of just not letting you chose a certain play for a period of time.

I see what you're saying on adjusting your play but I still think the other team should get at least a 10 point boost on awareness for that play.

Like mascots and refs, cheerleaders, sideline, sideline apparel, the Jumbotron use age, defensive celebrations , realistic fans, details details, then third the halftime show needs to be way better cause it has sucked. And the franchise mode offline needs a lot more love still.

One stupid thing missing from the last bunch of madden, when they show the coaches before the game begins, they don't tell you their names. Seems simple, and again would add to immersion, which is what franchise needs the most. Immersion.

When doing like a “qb” league in CF , did madden change the rate of which your team attempts a fake FG ? Anything 4 and under 5 yards my team would attempt a fake FG no matter the situation.
