I am so proud to have ever been on a very local line up with her in Chapel Hill. I have never rooted for the success of someone harder.

Great podcast. The conversation, the laughter, the thoughtful consideration. And the way Mike and Maddie explore the construction of jokes.

Always great to see a young comic with a sharp mind and wit. Loved her idea of humans being maladapted to their environment. I think she can really build a great bit from that. Very funny woman and thanks Mike for introducing us to her!

What I'm getting most from this podcast is that some people don't really understand that no matter what you do on stage in a comedy club whether it's edgy or vulnerable or political, or a story it has to be funny. We all already have enough of the not funny versions of these topics, but the comedy world is where we get to exhale about all the stuff we all experience throughout the world.

i love the episode, but as a hospital worker, the knowledge between urgent and emergency care is to distracting! urgent care ends at 9pm and emergency is 24/7. (at my highly rated hospital Starts with K ends with R) urgent care is covered with co-pay (cheaper too depening on the insurance) emergency is 50 bucks even with benefits including what ever procedure needed. there's a good joke in there about dying being better than paying 50k in x-ray. anyway, awesome episode! made me laugh a lot! got the joke with it, was crazy how yall related! two of my fav comedians talking?! wow!

Caveman software, to me, should end or circle back like Mike said, to the pavlovian perfume thing. We have to walk through a mall on caveman software, and we're really just walking around with the outdated 8 track player that is Human Beings. So to get anywhere, and deal with modern problems, you still have to be doing antiquated shit to trick your outdated software/hardware into an outcome, like forcing a smell grab to your brain by the shoulders and force it to remember happy things. There could be a whole special there, themed around how human's seem to have progressed past their natural ability to exist without forcing a change in our environment rather than adapting to it, and all we do anymore is try to resist doing the things hundreds of thousands of years of biology are telling us to do. I don't recall anyone agreeing to the terms and conditions of this bullshit Human Being device, can we get a refund? It's running Windows 10,000 BC
