My husband was a long distance relationship. He lived in MA (I was in GA) when we met online. But there was enough there for us to start seeing each other…then he got a job in VA (8 hr drive distance), and we did that for a yr…then he moved to GA (new position)…dated for another yr…and now we’re married! Point is: if it’s the right relationship, it will work, no matter where you live!

My first “dates” I consider meet and greets and I ask to go for a walk around a local lake. That way, we have an end point (it takes about an hour) and I can suggest a coffee or a drink if things are going well, but if there is no “connection,” we just say our goodbyes. It has been a very good approach for me. One plus is that we both get a nice walk in.

I once met a guy online, we went to a diner for a coffee. A thunderstorm broke out. He offered to drive me across the street to my car. I said okay. In that 5 minutes he got angry for some reason. I realized he was going to punch me! Luckily I managed to get out of the car. Never never get in a car with a stranger. Your friends may know where you are but you could be injured or dead. Seriously!

I'm from England, moved to California in 84 to work as a nanny, the family took me to St Croix for a vacation with them. I met a guy from the US he was working there for 6 weeks. The family were transferred to England,I wrote letters and talked on the phone to this guy and visited once. We married in july 90 and are still together living in Colorado. So it can work!!!!

When you broke down your last video on dating and this one it seems like you are preparing to write a book with all the analysis, hehe. I wish I could have caught the live of this episode, but I just missed it. Guys seem to give us a bad name. As far as being late, it seems to be the culture. I am in Los Angeles, but even meeting up at events and activities at home, they can be hours late can be common. Timing is so important and when dating often people are not ready to be in a relationship but yet are dating. To be friends is fine, but those boundaries are necessary to communicate this. 5-3 in height I think is a perfect height. But then I am Italian and 5-9. Just relax focus on your needs and interests, when someone comes along, when they complement those needs while meeting their own needs, then it might be a good match. Just keep it rolling.

LOVE your videos and work Maddie!! I just wanted to comment as someone who was a single mom dating many years ago - there is absolutely NO excuse to be 3 hours late to a date repeatedly. It sounds like he was at best terrible at planning/managing his time. At worst he was a terrible parent to not realize his kid needed diapers until last minute. You don’t wait till time to go on a date and be like oops I’m out of diapers/formula etc. it sounds more like he was trying to juggle other dates before yalls date OR he’s using being late as a form of control over you to see what he can get away with and how far he can push you. One isolated incident/emergency is one thing, but anything more than once is intentional. Never tolerate more than once and never wait more than 15 min. People are on their best behavior in the beginning so if you see anything less cut it immediately.

Maddie i loved your live stream and the stories :) i think you got alot of pushback about the whole "being exotic " thing because those people were being envidiosas, i mean yes there are white mexicans - as mexicans are mestizos and have european blood, but its not that common in mexico to find a natural blonde fair skinned light eyed mexican compared to the more mestizo and indigenous-looking mexicans.... so yea i think it p*ssed some people off but theyre just being haters so dont let the haters get you down, keep on keeping on because you are a star on the rise and we love you. also as far as the stalker thing- i would say that you have 2 stalkers (and the name starts with a J) lol. i cant wait to see more videos from you as every video is awesome. stay safe and take care my queen :)

You can put all the pothos cuttings into one big beautiful plant, just get potting soil and a pot… it’s a hanging plant so a good option is to place it high or use a ceiling hook. Can be cut back to look bushier tho

In regards to the obesity question: Yes, I have also noticed the increase in high fructose corn syrup (I can't eat it either and have been surprised by the number of things I have to put back on the shelf as a result. Like Maddie said, a lot of stuff is fried. There are a lot more suburb neighborhoods popping up where people have to depend on cars and walk less. Like the US, the portions are ridiculous here. For example, they might serve you a soup as a starter, but for me the soup was enough to be the entire meal.

What is a vortex?

@@volusinus Essentially what I'm describing are some physical phenomena that many recognize as having meta physical dimensions. The indigenous peoples saw Sedona as being a highly spiritual area. In Science, vortex's have a different connotation. I had some powerful dreams while being there and I'm not a crystal loving person. Here is a partial description from Wikipedia about Vortexs" In the hydrodynamic interpretation of the behaviour of electromagnetic fields, the acceleration of electric fluid in a particular direction creates a positive vortex of magnetic fluid. This in turn creates around itself a corresponding negative vortex of electric fluid. Sorry, I correction to something you said. A Chilango is not someone from Mexico City. People born in or from Mexico City are Capitalinos ! Chilangos are those provincials that return to their home town and pretend are more sophisticated Capitalinos or that currently live in Mexico City pretending they are Capitalinos. There are many, including poorly educated Mexicans that do not know this difference. Chilango is a derogatory term and should be used with care. Current popular usage not withstanding is wrong, like the grammar of poorly educated citizens (including many celebrities and politicians that say many barbarisms on TV). The fact that they speak in Spanish does not mean their language is spoken correctly.

😂 for sure you’re a chilango (from CDMX) and never liked that the rest of Mexico called you that. Capitalino is a fake term chilangos use because you pretended you are the only “capital” in Mexico. There are 32 states with 32 capitals anyone from one of those capitals is a “capitalino”. 😂😂😂típico chilango y su complejo de superioridad😂 Btw, there are no provinces in Mexico.
