Didn't understand one word but I picked up some great tips! ;-) Great idea w/dragging the black strip along the measuring tape (9:30) for smooth camera movement without the need of expensive motors. Also loved the use of alu foil for paper movement. Thanks for sharing.

I love his work. Very nice video! I wonder - as the puppet and newspaper is held by a rig, I understand that a frame is taken without the puppet for the background and then later the rig is removed, BUT how do you do that when you also have to move the camera? Do you have to move the camera with the stage empty and do film the whole camera movement first and then do it exactly the same way again with the puppet?

3 options here, you take a picture with and without puppet every frame. You can animate it and shoot a clean pass later with motion control. Last option, clean everything on Post-production with nearby information
