dude Blade HQ has the best customer service hands down. Thank you Nathan J. for your expedient and professional help! Ordered the wrong Spyderco and getting the order canceled and a store credit for the correct model was insanely quick and also learned if logged into my account I can do it myself in the future. I agree, but the devil is in the details. There are many "AMERICAN" companies that do business and make their goods in China but the profit is American and for a U.S company. It can also just be "assembled" here in the U.S but the parts are "made" in China (or somewhere else). How do we TRULY KNOW if EVERY SINGLE PART IS MADE and ASSEMBLED here? Do we really TRUST that if it says "Made in the U.S.A" that it REALLY IS? I am sure that that info is available somewhere. I haven't done enough digging to TRULY KNOW. ps: it's like cars and trucks. The car is "assembled" here in the U.S but most, if not all of the parts are made somewhere else. The electronics can be made in S. Korea , the speakers can be made in Germany or the chasis is made in China, etc...etc...etc... Am I getting too deep on the topic? Just asking...

@@aaronsbraga would you rather pay the freaking tariff or give up your freedom when China overtakes our country. If you think that's not what China has planned you really need to do some research. We can not stay a consumer based society. We have to start producing our own goods again .

I love my Tops CSAR-T. I'm an EMT and this is my EDC, I use it at work, I use it while hiking, and fishing. It's a no nonsense heavy duty folding work knife. It has a bunch of features I love, like a glass breaker, seat belt cutter, and the lanyard hole doubles as a hex bit insert for a multitool kit you can buy separately for it. I bought my first one a couple years ago and ended up giving it to my sister when she deployed to Iraq. So of course I had to buy another one for myself.

I love the interaction between you two very knowledgeable knife guys. My main knife is a Kershaw Ken Onion that I bought in Maui back in 1995 from the Snap On dealer. He would pull up in front of our hangar every week so the A&P mechanics (helicopter) could view and handle new tools or find replacements for lost or damaged ones. As the parts manager I needed a knife to open packages, boxes and an assortment of other containers. I figured I could drop 20 or 25 bucks on an inexpensive knife. Snap On doesn't sell cheapo knives...and he jokingly gave me the directions to Walmart. Well, $85 later I stepped out of the truck with a Kershaw Ken Onion which I still carry today except that it's missing the pocket clip which I lost on a hike. It's still in its original condition but I have to pocket carry it but no big deal. It has never lost its sharpness and performs camp chores easily, especially slicing into juicy steaks. Zac, I know you're a motorcycle guy...what do you ride? I'm itching to get back on another bike soon, possibly another Fat Boy; sold my 2008 model before leaving SoCal in 2014. Anyway, I love these blade banters and you guys have helped us through this maddening crisis with new knowledge of knives and sore gut muscles due to laughter. Mahalo, guys!

For production purposes, they should keep it consistent. On most set type shows (with a desk) the "Host" is usually on camera left the way they are now. If they are in a "two box", "split box" or "side by side", then the "Host" should be camera left or in the left box. This is correct the way it is here. They obviously made the right adjustment and placed the "Guest" on the right or in the "right box" Consistency is key, though.

Question for those who know more than me: My dad had a old and very compact American made folding Buck knife that I absolutely loved. It just felt super tough and solid and the transition from the polished wood to metal was seamless. It really felt indestructible. It also had a nice more rounded shape to it that felt great. I am currently in the market for a small knife with a similar feel since this one might be out of production. Any recommendations?

After carrying the wave for a couple years in my pocket I found it would sometimes come partially open if I was taking my keys out of my pocket or digging around in my pocket since the clip was on the back side arm. Wish it was on the front side arm then it could anchoring it and preventing it from partially opening. Other than that it was amazing to have. A little heavy, a little thick and big for everyday edc but still so useful in so many situations you inevitably find yourself in.
