First of all we are sorry for the sound track at about 5:30. KZbin found a track they didn't like so they removed it after asking. Also sorry about editing out most of the Humvee build by our production team. They didn't have the same vision as us and our followers. They are no longer in charge. I promise to make it more build and less fun and games. And BTW I didn't get in trouble for driving on public land. But yes, that was real. Also, I won the bet in who is going to pull who out in the end. When you have the truck stored in your facility it's pretty easy to stack the deck. :)

For starters he bought the right model. The 998 series is the best of the models that the military used. As a service member I know for a fact we abuse the hell out of these trucks. The 998 is by far the only model that veterans would privately own because it is the best off-road version that we have used. The engine could use some modification, but the transmission is built for off-road use and not highway. now it is totally Bob's choice on what to chance in the truck. I would go a different route, but its his truck.

Dale Aurich it’s grotesquely inferior to a H1 Alpha. Alphas, which are the only ones going for $100k have a 6spd Alison, all the updates from the past 20 years and a Duramax engine. They are in a whole different league then a POS 998. That’s like comparing a 4cylinder ‘87 Mustang coupe to a brand new GT350.

In texas (and many others) you can register them just like any kit or home built car. Just takes time. Texas direct auto sells them registered.

uncle remus, what part do you think is fake? i'll agree it's scripted, but you can defiantly buy these easily. he bought 9 of them because he was a moron and paid way too much for them. i know he said he put in the min bid, but usually the min bis is around $600 for the ones in poor shape and anywhere from $2,000 to $3,000 depending on the condition. mind you i'm saying MIN bid. they usually go for around $5,000 to $7,500 for the really nice ones
