So great job guys and i enjoyed and laughed seeing you actually into it to listen and actually connect and emote with what was happening and how real it is. @ReelRejects2 ай бұрын
@@kelenaffqnklin .... what EXACTLY did we do or say in this video that upset you? We literally were VERY complimentary towards this movie. Broke down so many of the themes and commentary the movie is going for. And further to your point, Adam Sandler movies don't go after half the serious commentary Tyler Perry aims for so wouldn't measure it the same way. This movie deals with r*pe, prostitution, systemic injustices against marginalized communities, overcoming trauma, self forgiveness, sisterhood, and there's even more than that....so Tyler Perry movies are much more serious so it's not something where we will just be dismissively laughing at stuff to just chalk it up to solely a comedy. That being I said, I think in this movie we were incredibly fair, both of us said how we liked it the most, PRIMARILY praised it, I don't even recall cracking 1 joke during this reaction.
@kelenaffqnklin2 ай бұрын
@@ReelRejectsI’m not upset guys , and I gotta stress thatt I am a huge supporter, I just think I’m sensitive to these movies because I grew up with these movies and plays and them being a staple in our house as a girl from the south ; and want so much for you tto like it , and Gregg you have come a long way from the first Madea reaction and I’m so happy to see just didnt think it would take a couple of movies to get there , but I can see you are trying and being less critical , so I do apologize if my comment offended you.
