Tyler Perry always has talk of God in his movies. But he never tries to push his faith on others. I think it's really admirable and refreshing.

The beginning chase of the film follows the ending of “Meet the Browns” which is technically the third film in the series. Madea and Joe have a cameo towards the end of that film that leads into this one.

It’s so fun to contrast your reviews against Jabi and Cine Pals because you guys seem to find different high points in the movies and like different parts of the film. These movies are part of my childhood and although they aren’t the best they are definitely a testament to Tyler Perry and his skills overall and also what he has done for the community.

To be honest I saw this notification when it was released but refused to watch it then because of as much as i enjoyed your reactions generally, the other Tyler Perry reactions turnt me off to go through again, but i said give it another try and im glad i did because it felt this time like a reaction and not watching to pull it apart to focus on the negatives. So great job guys and i enjoyed and laughed seeing you actually into it to listen and actually connect and emote with what was happening and how real it is. I think Tyler Perry movies are more on things that people really go through and stuggle with, adding in some humor and how it can be overcome to be resilient, forgive and conquer, and u guys got that 👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏽🙌🏽

I saw the notification & 💭 they at it again after all of the critical reviews of their last reaction 🤔 I was surprised but then Aaron answered my question & said the last reaction resulted in so many subscribers. I don't know why because I hated their other reactions. Everyone has a right to their own opinion. I am surprised they like this movie better than the others or perhaps Aaron thought he should try a different track after the other reactions. I don't really like this movie compared to others but I watched because I was curious. I prefer Jaby & Michael's reactions & I know it is not fair to compare. Everyone has their own preference 😊

I absolutely love this channel but it is a little frustrating how y’all can react to Adam Sandler movies (90% of which are super goofy and don’t have heavy dramatic plots ) and find them hilarious and gett into it but with Madea/Tyler perry films it’s like it kills y’all to get into and understand and y’all nitpick a lot , personally if you guys go forward y’all should genuinely give it a chance don’t compare the style of filming to other movies or don’t compare plots , thatt being said I think y’all should do media goes to jail the play next or any play before u do another movie , I feel like thatt will really make you understand Medea’s character and the music of it all

@ I did , and like I said In the beginning I do love your channel and watch at least 1 video a day so safe to say I love your reactions but it’s just slightly a different vibe is all , not to be a douche bag lol but if I didn’t like them I would just be like “stop reactions to Tyler Perry reactions all together “ butt I genuinely think you will be able to get into the plays more because you are completely spot on with Tyler is more of a play-writer than a screenwriter, while fantastic at both the plays really let his talent for writing and plot shows mixed with the extraordinary musical talent displayed, so sorry again I really didn’t mean to insult just thoughts and suggestions at the end of the day it’s your channel and I’m still gonna watch

@@kelenaffqnklin .... what EXACTLY did we do or say in this video that upset you? We literally were VERY complimentary towards this movie. Broke down so many of the themes and commentary the movie is going for. And further to your point, Adam Sandler movies don't go after half the serious commentary Tyler Perry aims for so wouldn't measure it the same way. This movie deals with r*pe, prostitution, systemic injustices against marginalized communities, overcoming trauma, self forgiveness, sisterhood, and there's even more than that....so Tyler Perry movies are much more serious so it's not something where we will just be dismissively laughing at stuff to just chalk it up to solely a comedy. That being I said, I think in this movie we were incredibly fair, both of us said how we liked it the most, PRIMARILY praised it, I don't even recall cracking 1 joke during this reaction.

@@ReelRejectsI’m not upset guys , and I gotta stress thatt I am a huge supporter, I just think I’m sensitive to these movies because I grew up with these movies and plays and them being a staple in our house as a girl from the south ; and want so much for you tto like it , and Gregg you have come a long way from the first Madea reaction and I’m so happy to see just didnt think it would take a couple of movies to get there , but I can see you are trying and being less critical , so I do apologize if my comment offended you. I’m still standing 10 toes down on the play comment I have a feeling you will be able to get into those a lot quicker ( as long as you I don’t mind the singing lol ) ❤

I myself am surprised they continued this series after all of the critical reviews they received from the last TP movie. I doubt they were surprised by your comments after reading all of those. In fact I thought your comments were rather kind & thoughtful. I thought they would quit reacting to TP movies but Aaron said in the opening segment these reactions are successful for subscribers so the TP reactions continue 🤔

Greg is not familiar with TV judges. It makes perfect sense. He was never at home with auntie or grandma to watch stories and The Price is Right, along with the judge shows. lol.

If you guys haven’t already, Antwone Fisher would be great reactions for you both. Derek Luke is in it as well, opposite Denzel Washington

Just throwing out some more gritty movies such as Hostiles, Glory, A Time to Kill. Joy luck club and soul food are also movies about family dynamics.
