I would have cut the base down to even out the width around the drawers. Now it looks a bit off with these long legs and the braod bottom piece. Which is sad for me, because I like the drawer design so much, that I am willing to do this insane amount of work myself.

This motivates me!! Someone gave me an Art Deco style dresser that has beautiful diamond pattern veneer on the drawers. Unfortunately the person who gave it to me sanded some of the veneer and I think they ruined it. These videos open my mind to different possibilities and options if I’m unable to save the veneer!
