• Hydraulic CAR JACK mod... - Check Hydraulic CAR JACK modification used in this video.
Yes I know. I already made a hydraulic vice, but I wanted to make a cheaper version that would be more affordable. I spent about $ 100 to make a set of vice and pump. I think it's a good price for such a practical construction.
Some homemade tools that I used in this project:
• The easiest way to cut... - Cutting steel like butter! - Machine build DIY
• DIY Belt Grinder 2x48"... - DIY Belt Grinder 2x48 "[PLANS]
• Welding & Cutting rota... - Welding & Cutting rotary table - BUILD
• Drill press STAND with... - Drill press STAND with COOLANT SYSTEM

Bardzo dobry filmik! Super się oglądało🙂. Aż dodaje ochoty do majsterkowania😉.

great video, and the corner you cut at 2:24 was a LOT safer than the first one, the "cold saw" is the safe way to go, no risk of a kick-back as with a chainsaw, same situation as a grinder, climbs the work just the same way, and with a freehand grinder ( 4"/8"/9") there is a torque reaction and the gyroscopic effect of the moving wheels, so it is a lot less stable a platform than a bench mounted cold-saw. there is also no risk of the spinning wheel hitting ones body parts or of loosing fingers, as the work is vice held not hand held in the cold saw case!

Good job but I was always taught to position the rear jaw level with the front edge of the work bench. The idea being if you put something large in the jaws, the over hang won't foul the bench. That's why the fixing is so far back on cast iron vices
