I have had 8 children so far. Each labor and delivery was so so different. Plus we had different hospitals, staff, and places we lived.

With my second child, I labored and gave birth alone because my husband had to be home with our toddler and we didn’t have a village to rely on. Thankfully my birth experience was good, all thanks to the amazing nurses I had. This time around we do have family coming in so my husband will be there till the delivery and then go back home to be with our other two kids. He won’t be spending a night at all.😊

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm going to pick up a Copper & Pearl Swaddle. The fact that it's so soft and stretchy compared to the hospital cloth type that's tougher to swaddle with

I agree with you 100% it’s better to pack things that make you comfortable and content. If ever there was a deserving time for women to pack all their necessities it would definitely be when they’re going to have a baby. Great stuff girl! So excited for you! We are back to back weeks in our pregnancies - and I’m so obsessed with watching you - you are the one who gave me the motivation to get up when just feeling blah and get the rest of my nesting done and I’m so happy I was able to watch and do it with you lol ❤❤❤ and I agree with bringing whatever makes you COMFORTABLE!!! because like us having lots of other babies - our hubbies have to go home after that first night - so face masks and extra self care makes me feel amazing!!!❤❤

I just had my second baby and I was so glad I brought my rose water spray. It was so refreshing and cooling when I was having hot flashes! And just moisturizing in general.

I love that you want to try and go unmedicated! For my 3rd baby I was induced and had pitocin the whole time and somehow managed to still go unmedicated and it was the best postpartum experience of my life! You can do this!! My first two babies I had epidurals and recovery was just so hard. It was worth it for a day of pain vs a month.

I hear that a lot from other women but my recoveries have been really good. Usually after a couple days I’m feeling like myself again! & that’s amazing!! Pitocin is no joke 😮‍💨

I am 31 weeks with my third! I haven’t gotten a whole lot of baby stuff ready yet but I have been cleaning my house like crazy and nesting that way😂 the only things I plan to bring that I didn’t see you have were slippers, shower shoes, and a sound machine!

This might not be for everyone , buttttttt I cracked a tooth during labor because I was clenching so hard during contractions to help cope . This time I’m bringing some Dental guards or bite guards idk what to call it . Also , had no ventilation in my room so bringing room spray that isn’t overpowering

My daughter just delivered her second baby and the after birth contractions made her cry. I had to place back pressure on her the whole next day. They are horrible. Wish I knew there was a remedy for pain.

This will be my third baby but second boy, I know I’m definitely bringing baby wipes 😅, and almost everything you showed in video! I’ll be bringing a bulb syringe, my daughter aspirated the formula she had prior to leaving the hospital and as soon as we got home from the hospital she stopped breathing and almost died, the only thing that saved her was the bulb syringe, without it my baby girl wouldn’t be here today 😢
