When I am decluttering items of the same category e.g. jeans or coffee mugs I ask myself, what is my favourite(s). I find I always reach for my most comfortable jeans or the coffee mug that makes smile. Then I can let go of the extras because they are not my favourites and I don’t feel like I’m losing something special. Hope this helps !

I have 4 bags that have been sitting for months that I need to drop off. My toddler's clothes have been in a laundry basket instead of hung up (room sharing, he doesn't have a dresser) because I need to go through and sort the clothes that are too small. So declutter on the go and having an outbox is genius and so is doing it in small amounts. I have an all or nothing brain, which it doesn't need to be, something is better than nothing! Great video for my short ADHD attention span also!!
