I can’t blame him. Scott went from being a new dad to finding out his wife is a clone of the woman he thought was his wife & having to give up said son so that he could be cured in the future. That’s ROUGH.

I wish Wolverine was in the lab scene so that Beast could've extracted his blood and injected it into Nathan because remember when Cable came to the past he was looking for someone that can resist the techno organic virus, realizing it was Wolverine and was able to resist it thanks to his rapid healing factor.

Sadly, the strain Nathan was infected with was more advanced than the strain Wolverine was infected with.

That wouldn’t have worked. If Wolverine’s blood type didn’t match Nathan’s, then his body would reject the transfusion, anyway.

Such a heartbreaking scene it just shows that parents especially mothers will do whatever is best for their babies 👶 even if it means separation which is extremely hard for a parent especially a mother.

Saying goodbye to your kids is always painful but even more so it's very hard for a parent to have to leave their child to go to the Future to be cured. We can only hope for the best in regards to Nathaniel Summers well known in the future as Cable. This is the mutant known as Prophecy signing off.

Sinister planned all of this, including sending Nathan to the future. The real jean escapes as soon as Nathan is born and Bishop's time travel band is repaired, convenient. Sinister was probably using Madelyn to spy and devise when he could make his moves. He told Madelyn he owns and controls every cell in her body so she might think the future idea was hers but it was really Sinister's. Sinister is also immortal so what is it to send a "project" a few decades into the future and collect it later when no Original X-men are present to interfere. He also said " they have no idea of the future I have planned for them" before they got Nathan back.

Kind of. She's a clone of Jean Grey. In the show, she didn't know until recently that she was a clone. Then after saving her baby decided to change her name to Madelyn and leave.

Normally Cable's deal is that he uses his powers to stop the virus from spreading to his body completely, hence why his robot arm.

@@uncannydcmarvelous5732 Look, I just can’t help but wonder why it is that they decided to bring baby Nathan to Forge in the future while he’s already a super genius in the present (though if I had to guess it’s probably because Forge likely wouldn’t yet know how to save Nathan in the present)
