I remember you told us about 50C in one of these last summers... Ha!! 52C in the sun and 38C in the shade here some days ago🙂 Hi, Mark! It's Natalia from Russia☺️. I can share some warmth with you now))) Best wishes from the torrid heat of the south area of the country. We have no forests here, but there's so much smoke! Not only because of fires, 'natural' and accidental, but because of some groups of people who burn different rubbish in enormous amount. The town is just in smog during such days😐 So a lot of people on the planet can understand your feelings. But you guys, I mean the Canadians, at least, can afford to see marvellous nature around and to have good opportunities to create some prosperity in your life there😉 I suppose the majority of you take pride in it. Are you really proud of being a Canadian, Mark?🍁

I'm proud of you for being such a nice guy, I'm a big fan of you and can't imagine how much... By the way, why don't you no longer make a cooking video? I also think that would be great if you make some videos about the movies you like or the books you've read and stuff like that. You're just awesome. You are one in a billion, Mark.

I like your teaching but brooks, streams, rivers, creeks are nearly the same thing but there are things that set each apart. pride and proud are just tenses, ones present one is past. this is coming from textbook i read 3 years ago. but I vividly remember learning this about streams, rivers, brooks etc.

Islam says "Walk humbly. Do not walk with pride and arrogance. Do not drag the feet whilst walking. Lift them and take proper steps". May Allah bless us with the ability to walk in line with Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.). Amin Ya Rabbi.

Hi Mark, it's not easy for me to be proud of myself because my parents always taught me to be humble. Nevertheless, there is one thing I can take pride in : my three children and how I raised them ! Thanks to make me laugh sometimes !😅🙏 Take care

Hi Mark and everyone. In my opinion, it is safer to replace words like pride and proud with glad or happy. For example. We're happy about achievements our child. As for me, I'm so glad to live in Ukraine and etc. Although it is much more important not only to say this, but also to think about yourself this way. Pride comes before a fall. Most of all God hates pride and proud people in any case. This is also unpleasant for most people. We must not forget that pride was not created for people. This is stated directly in Bible. We live in a dual world. Greeting from Ukraine. Thanks a lot

Why is it a bad thing to have pride (maybe even arrogance) in one's heart? As long as someone is just pride and does not be cruel to others i can't see any negative on harboring pride. Maybe it's a religious thing because we come from an Christian background even if we are not even Christians, it's deeply rooted in our culture. Even on other conitnents they have religions where it is not deemed a good thing to be proud. Maybe it's just a religious culture thing that we still haven't overcome. Or maybe i should repent and become Christian. 🤣
