It would help for PvP but for PVE it doesn't matter for stealth. The AI are oblivious to lights. YOu can go around with tier 3 flashlights blazing and they don't notice them at all at night. For immersion it would be cool though. It would be better to have the AI respond to lights first. It would make NVG's more useful on PVE. I never use them as I can just use the 600 and a scope.

Also giving the AI flashlights as well so they can blind you, or need to check if you are their enemy or friend, as they only can see your flashlight.

agreed, but giving them credit where it's due, the changes implemented in this first true wipe/update have been incredible in terms of progress. i'm very optimistic for the games future. gotta say though: flashlight OP. the elder key is still awful to grind out and (for me personally) the sawmill leader always irritated me, but that's a minor gripe(read: skill issue), but otherwise, it's a whole different game from the initial launch, even with the mini patches put through.

This would make sense as they are in a country that doesn't have the newest technologies, having old cold war/vietnam weapons and gear would help it feel more immersive too instead of having a decked out modernized m4 for the AI and newest gear but things that a militia would most likely have like old AKs and PPSH guns. They should definitely add some vehicles in the game too or make them hard to come by or need to find parts to get a vehicle working like a battery or another tire and store it at base and be able to upgrade it with makeshift armor

The game is difficult. 0.2 has brought a much better experience though. AI is way better than it was before. Put more time in the game a learn AI behavior and the game will become MUCH easier.

why are the vendors not located in the base camp somewhere? Would be nice to see them added and get rid of them all being accessed though a menu, its nice for convenience but other than that having them in the base with their own areas/setup would be much cooler.

It's probably better on resources to not have a physical model in game that needs to be loaded plus the several players who AFK often taking up space around the NPC, at least that's my guess. I do agree it's more immersive to have them physically there somewhere in the building but of all the things they could work on I don't know that this would be a priority.

this won't be a great idea, since all the players have collision models, they would be able to block access to a vendor if a few of them stand around a certain one... For immersion sure, but for convenience the menu system is just so much better

As a player with over 500 hours in the game, who plays with a lot of different people, I can’t stress enough how much I hear people wanting more content, as in more guns, attachments, color patterns, armor, etc. another huge one is places with more pvp, maybe incorporate random airdrop locations from the “United Nations”, but only when a server as a minimum amount of players online, and only on warfare. This will make it so people can’t just go on PvE and get high tier loot with no challenge or hop on a dead server. Also maybe add king of the hill locations that maybe pay your faction every 30 minutes or so that your faction is holding it, again with the server meeting a 10 player minimum from each faction. Your problem right now is people grind and unlock all the gear that they want, and then have nothing to do except PvP, because the AI really aren’t fun enough to fight against yet. But if you add a way for players to get guaranteed PvP, it’ll keep a lot more players on. I know you guys want this game to be more of a PvE experience, but you can only keep people’s attention for so long. It’s hard to beat the rush of running into players, gets people’s blood moving.

Yup the game has 70K players, PVE games usually die between 3 and 6 months with only a faithful playing longer, in this case 4K. PVP games last longer. PVP is just basic, atm.

Looove the game, I played 226 hours now, before night ops it was 60h :D. What I really would like to see is that you can hold back the bolt action animation after you shoot with a sniper. So you can really confirm where your shot went before reloading.

It would be nice to fix animations. I understand its alpha but trust me on this, death animation like in tarkov or arena is MUST. Just because of that detail game feels like its 2004 animations. Also AI is not AI, they act and sound like retarded Bots. Fix that and watch people coming back like mad even tho content is missing.

Can you guys remove the mosquito noises from pve since it was designed for PVP landing zone campers, after 1400 hours I literally cannot deal with the noises anymore it drives me nuts don't give me a response that it's for immersion purposes that's just stupid if you guys don't remove this fly / mosquito noises this game is permanently dead to me cuz I can't stand even one minute of it.

I love that you'll be able to repair stuff in the new update. Excellent! At the risk of overcomplicating things, I hope that eventually there's a weapon cleanliness bar, where if your gun gets dirty, the durability goes down quicker, but if you use gun oil and/or a cleaning kit occasionally, it will slow down the rate at which the durability decreases to extend the life of the firearm.

This game clearly has hit registry issues, and locking items like the new white phosphorus NVGs behind either an impossible loot drop or a $100 supporter edition feels like a tough move for an early access title. On top of that, the hit registry problems really highlight another issue: locking the 60-round 5.56 mag behind rank 3 Gunny. Without some sort of black-market or auction-house mechanic for the earlier players or even just casuals (which by the way you CERTAINLY wanna make an impact with for the long run not only for financial reasons but for the overall success of the IP as a whole), this decision feels like a miss. Larger magazines are critical right now, given the server desync and the unfinished ballistic/armor penetration mechanics. A player-driven flea market or barter system seems like a no-brainer, especially since you’ve already implemented a pretty extensive quest line. Take the VZ61 Skorpion suppressor as an example-it's not sold by any vendor, has one of the rarest drop rates in the game, and is tied to a weapon with some of the worst ammunition balancing. Why design an item that maybe 1% of the community finds and basically 0 percent keeps. An auction house mechanic could change this entirely, especially with some adjustments to the loot pool. Players could trade these ultra-rare items, making them more meaningful and valuable instead of just disappearing into obscurity. Just some food for thought! Either way maybe im bias because i also come from the godfather of extraction shooters we shall not name but i think having a auction house TRULY adds more fun to a game as a whole... giving players more meaning and becoming their own merchants is always fun to do & assures casual players and the rest to be able to actually have a chance to toy around with new or harder items to obtain so long as they can afford them.

I run the canted perst 4 at most poi’s and it’s very fun to clear cqb style but I agree canted iron sights or a 45 degree mount for a rds would be awesome.

Night Cycle is cool....but too many players just adjust their contrast so its not even like it matters. I've been in pure darkness and players come back to a LZ to try to reclaim their stuff but clearly have their contrast adjusted to see me across the field. Doubt anything can be done about it but damn it sucks.

adding durability - knowing its no complete is just a bad idea. better then wait the two months and then add with the repair. I like the durability, it makes me actually swap out weapons. allowing corpes to stay past the second death is good. then a teammate can might help recover. or you could find a "luckylootbag" of another dead pmc and get an entire kit. Vendor leveling gotta be adressed. not being level 3 on all when you are done with all missions, is just dumb. Make it so we are level 3 before also, at like 80% done, we shoudl be able to have the vendor level 3 gear. so we can actually use it. perhaps look into adding weekly contacts / missions to have something to do for max players. pvp is not for all - and restarting is only for a select few. night times gotta be made pitch black - right now, most done even bother to use the nvg. since ai dont react to flashlights.

Can ya'll fix branches/rocks/stones so you can actually run across them? LIke a 10-15cm tall branch/log or stone stops me dead in my track and I can't cross it, have to run around or jump and lose like half stamina.... Also give us more stamina. Not a silly amount but 5-10% more stamina should be doable without breaking things.
