ඔය සේරම ඇත්තද බලන්න ඕවයේ ගමනක් යන්නම ඕනෙ. සවස 3.05 ට මඩකලපුව බලා කොටුවෙන් පිටත් වන Intercity ය . පය තබාගැනීමට ඇති සහ ඔය කියන laptop, ආහාර තබාගැනීමට ඇති බොහොමයක් කැඩී ඇලගසා ඇත. TV එක වැඩ නවතා ඇත. පොල් ගහවෙල පසුවන විට AC compartment එක සහ 2nd class මැදිරිය යන දෙකටම ඇති එකම වැසිකිළිය තුලින් පිටතට වතුර ගලාගෙන ඒමට පටන්ගනී. එහාමෙහා යාම අප්‍රසන්නය. වැසිකිළිය ඊට හපන්ය. අමාරු සියල්ල හිරකර ගෙන මඩකලපුව දක්වා යාමට සිදුවේ. ඉතාම දුර්වර්ණ වැසිකිළිය බැලීමට පවා පිළිකුල්සහගතය. මහව සන්දිය පසුවූ විට අවට කළුවර බැවින් තමන් බැසිය යුතු දුම්රිය ස්ථානය සොයාගැනීමට නොහැකිය. එහි ඇති TV එක අකුරට වැඩය. Sri Lanka Railway කියා පමණක් ඇත. එය දුම්රියේ ගමන්කරන මගීන්නොදන්නා බව සිතා විය හැක. ප්‍රවේශ පත්‍රය රු.3000.00 කි. Restaurant එකක් තියනවාදැයි නොදනිමි. Intercity නිසා මගීන්ට ආහාරයට යමක් ගැනීමට අවශ්‍ය බව නොදන්නවා වියහැක. ආසන 52 කි. පළමු පන්තිය පමණක් ආදායම 3000 × 52 . අනේ අපේ රටේ දුම්රිය සේවය. වාහන නැති මධ්‍යම පන්තික මිනිසුන්ගේ ගමන් අයිතිය පවා හොරාකන CGR සියලු බලධාරීන්ට සුභ ගමන්...

Do NOT travel on the so called '1st class' sleeper cabins. The bed and the sheets may be clean but the rest of the cabin's cleaniness is questionable. Everything from the lavatory to the cupboards are run down and the hard carriage suspension ensures that the ride/sleep will be as bumpy as possible. You will be better off selecting the 2nd class sleeperette seats.
