Dear Madhura Sudha Sir, very much thankful sir, wonderfully explaining, Sir, I am very common man, and one among in millions and millions of fans of Raghadevan. Sir I don’t know what is “Marabu isai, sevvial isai, Thol isai, Mellisai, Grammiah isai, Karnataka isai, western isai….etc which u explaining in a very simplified manner in various episodes based on the Raghas. Sir, as a common man, I know only one isai that is “My Raghdevan’s isai”. Sorry to say this sir, because as a common man I don’t know anything about music, without knowing the music, I liked these much and many times when I listening the songs of Raghadevan I tempted to open my almirah and collect whatever, so far I had earn and learn to be kept at the golden feets of Raghadevan. Because, I am a man respected by this society and gets a meaningful life is because of Raghdevan’s music sir. Really sir in each episode, u explain that Raghas based, how Raghadevan simplified and makes ordinary people to listen and enjoy is wonderful and marvellous sir, pls continue sir. By listening this I feel that Raghadevan cannot be Judged by anyone, simple, whether anyone can judge the God ? no… we can only experience that, I am experiencing in my day-to-day life… my last breath will stop listening the divine music of Raghadevan, that’s my one and only wish….nothing more to say…..eyes fill with tears……

At the outset, my heartiest felicitations for bringing such a series in you tube and my best wishes for your success in your succeeding episodes to come. Indeed I wonder not only about Ilayaraja's talent. He is an inborn genius. You also equal him by bringing his offerings in music to us. It is my humble suggestion - you can chose one song which perfectly fits into a particular raga and explain in depth so as to enable even a layman to understand that raga and the trick of identifying the songs based on that raga. Instead of pitch pipe you can explain the pitches in the raga and song as well.

Have watched many of your programs with interest and amazed by the way Ilayaraja Sir has composed songs based on pure ragas which will make Carnatic Music Proud! Am sure no one can compose music with such precision and yet not cause harm to the original raga it is based on. The arrangements in the late 70s and 80s are so relevant even today. You will have to talk about the way songs like Thamarai Kodi, Alai Meedhu, Vandhale Alli Poo, Endrendrum Anandhame Ennangal Aayirame etc are compose where the scores are so different and BGMs unimaginable those days where facilities were limited as compared to the current Digital environment

Carnatic music did originate from sama Veda actually (ref. Proof.p.sambamurthy books) the place of origin was mainly Karnataka bcoz Saint purandaradasa a kannadaiga..called Karnataka Sangeeta pithamaha..he only formed lessons in Carnatic music

When our Musical God Isaignani Raja sir asked LR Eswari to sing for his very first film "Annakkili", she simply rejected our Raja sir's choice simply saying she would not sing for new music composer in 1975. That's why Raja sir never gave any chance to her to sing in his composition later until today. That is, our Maestro simply "rejected the singer who rejected him in 1975".
