ഞാൻ മധു സാറിനെ വെള്ളനാട് മിത്രാനികേതൻ സ്കൂളിൽ പഠിക്കുന്ന കാലത്ത് (1973) ഏതോ ഒരു പരിപാടിയിൽ പ്രസംഗിച്ചു. വെളുത്ത ഉടുപ്പും മുണ്ടും വേഷത്തിൽ. ഇന്നും ഞാൻ ഓർക്കുന്നു ❤

മധു എന്ന നടൻ നാടകത്തെ വളരെ സ്നേഹിചിരിക്കാം. പക്ഷെ ഡൽഹിയിലെ സ്കൂൾ ഓഫ് ഡ്രാമയിൽ ചേർന്നത് അക്കാലത്ത് പൂനെ ഫിലിം ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് തുടങ്ങിയിരുന്നില്ല എന്നത് കൊണ്ടാണ് എന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം തന്നെ ഒരു അഭിമുഖത്തിൽ പറയുന്നുണ്ട്.പൂനെയിൽ ഫിലിം ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് തുടങ്ങിയിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അദ്ദേഹം അവിടെ ചേരുമായിരുന്നു എന്നാണ് പറഞ്ഞത്.

Mr. Srikumaran Thampi's narration on Madhu sir has turned out to be excellent, as he succeeded well to paint a colorful picture of the veteran actor who stands entirely different from all other actors of the Malayalam film industry. An actor who never liked hero worship and one who always liked to keep away from limelight by never attending to any functions by keeping an identity of himself. This kind of an attitude in Madhu sir made him to get a space in the minds of people by leaving an indelible image in their minds. Madu sir has followed a kind of a life style which was entirely different from that of other film personnel and this kind of an attitude in Madu sir has really left an image of a hero in the minds of people. He appears to be a health conscious person who looks quite energetic and smart, and healthy there by proving that age is just a number. Let Madhu sir be like this for ever. God bless him.
