Madison Montgomery AHS Style Analysis: Prima Donna Complex & Fashion as Wish Fulfillment

In this video, I will be analyzing the style and character of Madison Montgomery, the Egotistical Anti-Villain in American Horror Story: Coven and one of the main protagonists in AHS: Apocalypse. In her early life, she was a child star and went on to become a Hollywood starlet known for her out-of-control partying and demanding prima donna tendencies.
I'll be breaking down how her style materializes her journey while projecting a curated head-to-toe put-together facade in AHS through fashion psychology. This will aid in the understanding of the relationship Madison has to her own image externally as well as a sense of self internally. I'll also be explaining the high fashion and cultural influences that formulates Madison’s appearance between her life as a Hollywood starlet to a student at Miss Robichaux's Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies. This goal though releases her ruthless side unlike ever before. Her narcissistic and sociopathic tendencies run wild between her telekinesis and developing spellcraft to her inner turmoil and outer complexities, which are tangibly captured then developed in numerous ways over Madison's many lives by which she evolves.
