Are the two of you professional photographers? You have the absolute best sailing videos on KZbin, and we watch all of the best sailors as they circumnavigate the world. Your work is amazing! We will keep watching!!

Another great video. Thank you for not being your typical KZbin cruising couple where it's all about them. My journalism teacher called it "I trouble." Many are afflicted these days. Stay mysterious. Glad to see you have a proper anchor. We used the same one on our 43 footer. You will appreciate it when everyone else with CQRs are dragging past you in the fluffy coral sand. Brandon, Oceanus

Oh yeah!!! Please don’t stop indulging yourselves in your fantastic adventure! But, if you can keep sharing it, I for one, would be grateful. I am a seasoned sailor, and sofa sailor, and I love your shares!!! I would welcome as much as you can muster without compromising yourselves! Fair winds and following seas.

Wow, wonderful blog, thanks for sharing. Julia looks absolutely bristol (fabulous). Well done! You have already seen more dolphins than I saw in 4x that length of passage in the pacific. You are blessed. I covet your sewing machine. Looks like a great job on the roller furling conversion.

It's fantastic to see you guys living your dream. This is our dream too, and it gives us hope that you guys are making it happen. We are still in the saving money and fitting out the boat stage. Are you guys planning on South Pacific after Mexico? Your boat is a work of art, a true seaman's dream.

Hey guys, Just enjoyed your southern coastal segment, awesome..! Beautiful boat and you visited most of my favorite spots in the Channel Islands. I lived in SB Harbor for a couple years way back when. As coincidence would have it, we met you both in my home town Avalon just a couple weeks ago. I believe it was on a Monday evening. I have a few great photos and can share if you're interested. Enjoy Baja and the Sea of Cortez, it's a treat that keeps on giving! Take care and Happy Sailing to you both, Steve & Sharon..:)

Just a polite correction the porpoises you mention are in fact dolphins. There are specific differences, the dolphins swimming around your bow are quite lean, with a hooked or curved dorsal fin and lastly tend to have elongated “beaks” or snout. Porpoises are generally more portly, short flippers and a stubbier shorter triangular dorsal fin, not to mention no beak. Love the sailing and the sites - safe passage.

I am new subscriber and my compliments regarding your vessel and your adventure. I also own an older vessel (1965 Pearson Vanguard) and I am very curious about all of the lines running on your boat. Some of the original working rigging on my boat has been changed out and I am in the process to returning it to the original rigging style (really just a few simple changes) and I would like to ask if you can do a short video (not to bore everyone) and explain how your vessel is rigged. I can pick out the obvious stuff, but I am not sure about a lot of it. Many thanks! Keep up the great content. My boat is among the first fiberglass one and I am now (maybe) wishing it was wooden? Not sure but you have done a fantastic job restoring her. Much respect!

At which marina did you stay in San Francisco? Thanks!
@MadisonBoatworks2 жыл бұрын
We try to avoid marinas when possible. We anchored in Richardsons Bay, at Angel Island, and at Aquatic Park, but we didn't stay at any marinas in the bay. At other places where there is no anchorage or it is super exposed we sprung for a slip.
