Saudi Arabia is being challenged with the conservative Islamist tradition of ibn Abdul Wahab and the Liberal elites who were educated abroad or have entered into the sociopolitical structure conforming to a Liberal religious leaning coined "Moderate Islam " like other modern Muslim nation states in the world today. This is the promised roll back from 1979 Sahwa resurgence of Salafiyya movement in the Kingdom.

This is a fat reeeeeach but here i go: I’m looking for a pdf written by a muslim salafi guy from Canada. His kunyah had “al benghalee” indicating his banladeshi origin in name, however i’m not sure if the way i just spelled it was accurate. I am 1000000% sure it was not spelled as follows “Bengali” and equally certain it had a “h” in there. I’m just uncertain of how many “a’s and e’s” there were 😅 Anyway, this guy had written a PDF in defence of his sheikh who was himself a prominent Salafi Dawah promoter of Canada going back to the early 80’s if i recall correctly. He had some kind of acquaintance with sheikh Rabi al Madkhali. The content of the pdf in question was a rebuttal of abu iyaad’s refutation (surprise surprise) of this sheikh’s stance labelled by abu iyaad as “fence sitters of canada”. This was all related to the whole muhammad bin hadi split up issue c.2015~ It was a really detailed, fairly written and CLEAR exposure of the faults and errors of Abu Iyaad’s typical ways of critiquing others/their statement. If anyone can help the search that would be great! The organisation that the author was associated with at the time also had a youtube channel too, and a website. Oh and the pdf itself had like a green theme to it if that helps? TIA

So j1had in the way of Allah SWT, to implement the Sharia, to ensure the enemies of Islam are not the rulers, is worse? There are no 'muslim' countries. One of the cornerstones of 'true islam' is enjoining good and forbidden evil, which no one can do in KSA. Just doing prayer is not 'true islam'.

"Madkhali" is a family name! Not a sect name. There is no political bias in not criticizing the ruler publically. EDIT: & insisting on private positive criticizm. Also, the consequences of muslim countries after "the arab spring": Egypt is in poverty; Libya is unstable (France traded its oil with arms for revolts). & you tell us it's normal to criticize rulers publically. Long live stability!
@lyrickoner9 ай бұрын
No one is attacking every person named Madkahli. However, the term 'Madkhali' is appropriate for this cult who go out of their way to cause division and fitan amongst the Muslim community under the guise of 'following the Sunnah'. Also It's naive to believe that merely criticising the rulers led to the Arab spring. There are many other factors, such as political corruption, economic decline, unemployment, and extreme poverty. You say long live stability, but at what cost ? The deliberate and devious eradication of any remaining Islamic principles, replaced with secular laws and ideals ?? If we all remain silent, who will speak up against the blatant nifaaq of Bin Salman and his like ? Not Shamsi and his brainwashed companions, that's for sure.
@mounirb1749 ай бұрын
Still confident about mixing religious topics with political ones!?? You show no knowledge in religion, nor politics. You went as far as stating Bin Salman is a munafiq. I am almost certain you do not have a Saudi nationality! Historical Argument: Ghadafi was portraid as a disbeliever before being killed, then the Sheikh backed off and said he died a believer. The sheikh's strategy was to get Libya to rebel against a disbeliever, not just hate a Muslim munafiq leader. Argument in Saudi Politics: How much Bin Salamn is involved in Saudi Arabia streets being the safest in the world? Argument in Saudi Religion: How much Saudi rulers were involved when people were devided during prayers inside Masjid Al-Haram (Mekka)? Of course they are seen as the worst when media decides to portray them as such! Look! There are a few bars in Saudi Arabia when other countries are worse. Look! They are (under pressure) normalizing relationships & buying arms from producers and their allies, USA & Zionists. All this media talk means nothing when Islam has an explicit hadith! (The explicit one that people you follow don't love) Take care non Saudi guy!

You provided examples of immodest Iranians and then generalized to the entire Iranian nation, which is a very biased and unfair comparison. Hijab is a law in Iran, possibly the only Islamic country with such a regulation, and many devout women in Iran observe hijab. Iran is working to improve modesty every day, while there are clear evidence that the West is doing everything to promote immodesty in Iran.
