i had the same problem with back body being so thick. so I spent $280 on a inception designs fle body and it's lighter & more slimmer now. the other plus about it is that the eye covers have screws to hold the light pipe in place unlike the stock etha 2.

Hi Miguel, today I played with an Etha 2 for a couples of points on my local field: what a blast !!! It shoots like way more expensive guns and doesn't look as "cheap" as many vids are saying. In my opinion, there's no need to pay more to get a Gtek or 160R. Well done PE

I can agree with the trigger, it feels awkward almost like they don't want you to walk the trigger, sticking your middle finger underneath the trigger and only using your index to shoot, still a great gun overall, with great reliablility.

I've never been a PE fan, but DAMN... I'm impressed!. If someone asked me to recommend a good mid level marker for any style of play: I'd be hard pressed to give a better recommendation than an Etha 2. Plus you can tow it behind your car :-P

One of the best markers there is, love mine. There is one weakness I've seen them fail and that's if shot on the button, the switch on the board can break as a result of this. If you'd shot at the other side, odds on this problem would have occurred.

I feel ya, I pretty much only keep my gun on NXL ramping so it isn't and issue. I am downgrading my Luxe ICE to an Etha 2 I like its value proposition so much, but i def will miss the nice programming of the Luxe/RSX board

Every review I've seen on this basically says it's amazing. I bought a GOG ENMEY last year trying to get back into paintball, but I've been rather disappointed with it to be honest despite how awesome everyone said it was for the money.

What's worth it to you vs. someone else is really hard to measure. What I can say is that yes, those two features work great, but the question you should really ask yourself is "what do I picture myself using?" Really, imagine yourself in pictures, what are you using in them?

Thanks for the response! I like the aesthetic of the 160R but everything I play is 10 bps ramp so I’m not sure the aesthetic bump is worth the price difference.

Hey madman I have a question about my shocker rsx, I just got it new out of the box and I noticed after shooting for a little bit, it won't cycle air into the bolt and instead the solenoid will just click. Also when it does work it does this clicking every other ball so I can never get all my shots off. Could this be bolt stick or is my solenoid bad?

My 2 cents, i would still go with GTEK - just because of the board. Etha 2 doesn't have a slot for OLED board. I own GTEK, no regrets so far. I would still like to hear opinion of @The Madman

Julio M detract in what way? the gtek is a mid range marker and the Etha 2 an entry level.

Yes it will. To some degree. You're basically getting the same performance for less money, so if the ergonomics are ok for you, you don't mind the looks and you don't mind playing with a "cheap" gun, there's really no compelling reason to upgrade to GTek. The trigger might be less refined, don't know, but for most players I don't think even that is a real issue. Barrel? Are they still putting 693s in these? The 160R is a nicer package, but it's also roughly twice the price. Some potential GTek purchasers will definitely go for Etha2 instead. Especially when aftermarket bodykits are available. How many? Hard to tell.

300 psi input pressure too low for etha 2?

as long as it's above 140 psi it should be fine, but normally I like going closer to 500 in case my tank's regulator recharges slowly for any given reason.

the gtek feels better, but this is hoseless. the gtek can upgrade to an oled, but the etha is $150 cheaper. Its all preference. If you want something that feels more high end then get a gtek, but if all your looking for is a smooth shot then get the etha 2

I think the stock barrel is fine. Accuracy doesn't change much from barrel to barrel. Only sound and efficiency

Alessandro Bajona anything that can be adjusted to around 450 psi. I went for the basic ninja 68ci.
