Honestly, I'm with swift on the trains. That narrow canyon would be great for a train. It'd be a good way to transport resources en-mass, back and forth, and who knows, maybe you can find a way to automate it. None of those PCU and RAM hungry conveyer lines.

I think calling that big rover a turtle backfired at the end. Next time don't build a large grid antenna on a rover. Build a small grid one on a hinge or rotor. It works just as well and won't make the thing so top-heavy. Another idea: trains might be less prone to turning upside down.

The reason the Splitsie mod (survival less likely?) does that with the stone is so that the basic refinery has a use for longer into the gameplay

For the rovers.. if you set the front wheels to do the pulling and the back wheels to do the stopping it helps prevent the wheelies.. at least until you try to drive it in reverse

Random though while in the shower. Did you ever consider drilling into the wall of the ravine horizontally? Wouldn't need to work over a giant hole, and you are instantly hitting hard rock rather than the dandelion dirt, and I would hope easier to build.

Tip for making rovers not wheelie bias the power and grip toward the front wheels and the braking toward the rear it should help with stability

and here it is Much easier to Flip over rovers doing the block method. just use alot of blocks on one side and tip it over. very simple and easy to do. I wondering if he is trying to use his Mouse while Driving. So in doing that, the Gyros kindof are reacting to that movement of the Mouse. Also Max His Speed Limit at 3 M/s no higher then

Making the spine of large rover out of heavy armor may help with the flipping. Don't need the grids just build the steel plates in and the extra weight should help a bit

New rule, erock is the only one allowed to drive the Rovers.

one Mod you should add is the Compass Mod so you can communicate with your friends where you are looking at or pointing to using clear directions. also verry helpfull if you are under attack or want wo attack somthing to coordinate where your enemys are or you want to go to.. also a MUSt mod for every SE (and one KEEN should put in the vannila game) is Sneaky Sounds from Splitsie. it lowers the stupid loud Tool volume. Splitsies Mod for the Large Refineries not be able to use stone is a way of giving the basic refinery sense to have it still arround and use it after you rmanage to have the large one. also.. switch the bottom layer of the large rover to halv blocks or plates (or remove it entierly to get you more ground clearence and build you some stairs, ramps or a ladder on one side so you can get onto the rover even without jetpack fuel. also a connector or container access reachable below the rover gives you a chance of filling your bottles if empty.

think one issue with your rovers is they're not long enough to distribute the weight you're putting on them. The small rover in particular suffers from that issue especially when you load it up since it's top heavy.
