Our developers really need to go outside of Zimbabwe for an eye opening clinic. This is not a mall, it's a shopping center. How do we call something without a food court, gym, cinema, amusement park etc a mall. Those who are appreciating this surely have never been out of Zim.

Great, wonderful. Lots of parking space. We need more of these to decongest Harare CBD. We need all major Bank ATMs at such malls. Limit liquor outlets or braai spots as boozers will spoil environment as at Highglen mall. Zim is developing at accelerated pace for sure.

Where is this Madonkayra place? This shopping centre would be nice for Esigodini or Khezi or Inyati. Even Plumtree. Great for a small towns so people don't have to go to Bulawayo for everything. Thats a good move. At least there is some evidence of money being put to good use as opposed to being deposited or invested in foreign accounts. But there also is a need to upgrade ordinary township shops that have degenerated to dilapidated rural structures to modern-day day standards. Development should include poor areas. Remember how success is not determined by the highest level but the lowest. Let's move on but wisely.

I think its just a normal small shopping center. I wouldn''t call it a mall. Zimbabwe really needs serious Mall designers. It's like vamhu vanopererwa nekudesigner or someone just wakes up one morning and draw something on a piece of paper and it is finalized like that. There is so much parking space than shops. Dont get me wrong, I am not anti development, but sometimes things must be modern and for God's sake this is 2022.This kind of development suits small towns like Nyanga or Juru .

Malls are probably the most economy sensitive real estate and the Rentals are exorbitant meaning that the type of mall you want is very expensive to build and the businesses occupying the spaces should sell their goods and services at a premium to afford the Rentals. Now with the state of the economy not so many people will be able to buy from such expensive shops which inturn may lead to their closure and the collapse of the whole Mall.
