It's absolutely breathtaking.... The preservation and accentuating of the natural landscape is an homage to many aspects that life should comprise; balance, harmony, grace, rejuvenation, simplicity, respect... The interiors of the home and the exteriors feel continuous and harmonious. It is simply beautiful. Grand with the expansive windows and high ceilings, but still homely because every piece of art, stick of furniture, fixture, and fitting appears to have been lovingly and individually curated over a period of time. There is nothing mass-produced looking or Instagram looking about it. It shows individuality, creativity, and great taste. The landscaper and interior decorator should share their talents and make some money, if they are not doing so already.😊👏🏾 May they live long, healthy lives to enjoy the fruits of their hard work.🙏🏾

I see alot of old people coming back to zim probably now getting retirement money but the majority of young people who come back are forced to built in rural areas and do farming projects and go back to diaspora to finance their projects back at home. Harare thats where the money is but its very expensive especially the real estate

I don't think it's a matter of being forced to build in the rural areas as such, but a matter of preferences, because if they can afford to build something good in the rural areas, surely they can afford to build anywhere. Most people in the diaspora have realized that majority of the elites live in the country side where there's peace and tranquility. Also another point is I don't think pension money from the diaspora is enough to maintain this kind of lifestyle at all, I'm sure this would pure hard work and proper planning for their future.

There are some young people who are investing back in Zim or other countries in Africa. These old people( me included) did not just wake up and decide to go back to Zim, it has been a process, over time. Also not severing ties with the continent makes it easier to settle back in. Lastly, going urban or rural is personal preference

I stay in Mount Pleasant Heights and the money to buy a residential area chete (stand) unogona kutotenga imba yakapera kuMadokero or better yet channel it towards building kumusha kusina maExpenses ekutenga land. If I had an opportunity hangu I think I would have preferred staying in areas like Glen-Lorne and GreyStone...mhepo yeko is so surreal because of the leafy surroundings

The fact is - If u have the $$ to burn then harare is for u.. but if u live abroad and have hard earned savings $$ -. take your time and evaluate your options.. theres plenty of other well run African countries with coastlines to retire in. KZbinrs continue to mislead people with lives of the 1-10%. Most Zimbabweans don’t live in borrowdale/ grey stone park etc. just like most Americans dont live in Santa Monica or Boca Raton. Dont rush there. Take your time..unless homesick.. and remember theres a reason 45% of Zimbabweans left for overseas to begin with..

wonderful house. I even feel relaxed just looking at the scenery. The home decor is so stylish with an authentic African flavour. The only part I am not sure of is the Kitchen. I feel that the scent of food from the kitchen will get into the lounge which would not be good for some guests. It can even make you feel hungry whilst food is still being prepared.. It could be that there is another barrier that can be used to separate the kitchen and lounge.

Zimbabwe is very beautiful there are some really nice houses there but when building a house you also have to consider any factors about the countries infustructure hospitals and the price of living. Apart from that, the sky is the limit as long as you have money. How much was spent on this property and another thing about these videos of people's homes is that the focus is on the property alone which actually gives a false narrative to the message of come back home. How much for land and all the bribes one has to pay. What is the price per brick and bag of cement and all the hidden costs just show casing a house is one thing but the details on how to get there is another. Any how it's a very nice house but I've seen so many videos like this but not enough about the living standards of zimbabwe. The 2 need to go hand in hand when asking people to come back to zimbabwe and live.
