Donna and Nikki on back up vocals are FANTASTIC singers!

Much agreed! They are truly amazing. So glad she had them for her first 3 tours and brought them back for Confessions. Their voices all blend so well together.

what I admire about Madonna was her ability to incorporate different social, cultural, aesthetic elements into her work. I mean here there is club culture, there is camp, old Hollywood's vibe, there is the dictatorship of money. It does this by passing all these things through not only the voice but through her body. it is totally postmodern. Madonna is not just a musical reality. It's a cultural fact.

She is the ULTIMATE show woman! Underrated live performer imo

Amen! Back in 1990 the only other women who could light up a state like this IMO was Janet Jackson & Tina Turner.

The Cherish part is very important, at that time in the news and in the media the word Gay was equated with the word death because was the peak of the AIDS crisis, so Madonna decided to show three gay men, full of live, having a good time and she literary singing to them that she always gonna cherish them

Simply awesome! She’s elevated pop music concert into a theatrical art form in the same vein as a Puccini opera-she divided the show into acts/segments where you experience music, art, dance, drama, pathos, comedy and celebration. I guess that’s the Italian gene in Madonna. It’s been said that a Madonna concert like this one is-a rock concert, an art appreciation class, a burlesque/cabaret show, a religious experience, a bit of Broadway, a bit of Disney fantasy, a disco dance club, a fashion show, a comedy club act, a drag show, an aerobic/Pilates class-all rolled into one 😅!! She’ll get your passion and emotions going-make you cheer, cry, dance, laugh, be angry at times, feel sexual and be introspective. On most of her other tours, she’ll add to this experience: cross-cultural music and dance, a bit of history class, and a dose of social/political issues awareness rally. Most of us have been to other shows and concerts-but a Madonna concert takes you to another level of pop music and cultural experience that’s quite unique, always thought-provoking, educational and thoroughly entertaining. ❤your reactions and this Madonna journey.

I love how Japanese audiences are with major pop stars. People so often mistake Japanese audiences for being “bland” but culturally they have respect for the artist and their craft and their silence is how they show it. People think they aren’t enjoying the show but they truly LOVE American artists.

So glad you’re enjoying this concert. And you haven’t even gotten to the best part yet. The next segment features three finales. Can’t wait for your reaction to Keep It Together… it’s unbelievable! It’s definitely a journey, from the 1930s, 1950s, 1960s… In the next segment you get Bob Fosse. As I’ve said, her concerts only get bigger and better, can you even imagine? Ty, for an awesome review. Hope you both had s great day. Also… Brenda, white looks amazing on you.

Aww, thank you so much - You're very kind. ❤️❤️ If the Blond Ambition Tour is any indication, we can't begin to imagine how epic her future concerts must be... Don't know how we're going to survive Celebration! Have a great evening! ❤️

I think the Cherish performance is just so memorable. The dancers were so into it and as always with Madonna, she’s multitalented- a little harp thrown in for good measure 😂 she’s amazing.

After the success of the song Material Girl Madonna was basically put in that box of being a woman who only wants money from a man and she did not like the way that that was the way she was being portrayed and she said that she would never sing that song again . I think the reason that she performed the song the way that she did on this tour was kind of a jab at that song.

I always love when Madonna shows off her classical dance training moves. Get Into the Groove is still one of my all time fav dance songs. Everytime I hear it I feel like I have to get up and dance. Lol. 💃

I agree with both of you that she's really funny in parts of this segment. 😂 I also agree with how the costumes are fantastic, and how she continues to be high energy throughout the show. Madonna trained strenuously for this tour, and it shows! Anyway, keep ep up with the awesome reactions! 💯 It has been enjoyable so far for sure!

Watching every Madonna's concert is not watching "just" a concert she will get you to a journey with her music and creativity. That's an artist, she will moved you and wake you up in a great way but at the same time she will entertained you. I just love her dearly, I as a millennial born in '93 honestly her music is very captivated me and continuously inspired me as a person. Long live the Queen. 👑 Loving your reactions to Madonna, more in the future I hope you get reactions in all her concerts and most especially her speeches. Love lots! 💖

Love re-experiencing this with you guys. Like you guys, I'm always impressed with her vocal changes and accents she throws in. And the never ending choreography. The stamina she had and still has, even today, to put on these highly choreograph shows. No one before her put on such live stage productions. I can't wait to re-experience the final act of the show. I think you're going to memorize at the next few performances coming up.

I love seeing you enjoy this tour, as I am also enjoying seeing it again. It is so varied, full of styles, choreographies and different moods, and manages to convey so many different emotions, that Madonna set the bar very high for the shows of any singer from now on, only people like Michael Jackson could compare to her. Kisses girls 😘😘😘

Sorry for my persistence, but if you want to see the real essence production of this tour, you need, you have, you must to react the blond ambition tour from Nice, for its quality, the editing, the sound, the lights, the atrezzo and final design of the stage, the curtain drops to the floor between rhe different thematic sections of the show, the curtain that falls behind her during the performance of live to tell that imitates a church confessional, the audience, the choreographys, the whole package, it is the most closer you are going to be of the show
@OurAnxiousReactions Жыл бұрын
We'll definitely have to check out the Nice show at some point. When we get to the end of our journey through Madonna's music, it will be great to still have some performances and songs to revisit. ❤️❤️

Hello, with this concert Madonna took her second excommunication after the video Like a Prayer .When she came to Italy in Rome the concert was forbidden to children under 14 years old and the controversy was so strong that Madonna canceled one of the 3 concerts scheduled

Madonna is not a fan of a Material Girl as the public misunderstood the song, so when she does do it, it's never the original. Thank god, I can't stand it haha.
