She's the best. Dancing complicated choreograhy so effortless and singing live at the same time. Can you believe she did this show with the same energy for half a year almost every night? And she hasnt stopped since. The Celebration Tour was so much fun. There's just something special about Madonna, she is the Original.

What a blast this was. Thank you for the fantastic reaction to this show. It definitely is one of her best tours ever. Yet, her tours from this point on only get more theatrical, full of energy, emotion and dancing. Not sure if you're interested in watching the documentary of this tour called Truth or Dare. The movie explores a lot of back stage antics and show what a family the whole crew became. A lot of outrageous things were filmed which changed the landscape of tour documentaries. You also get to see alternative performances of many of these songs! So we're starting to get into the part of her career that she really starts pushing the sexual boundaries. Heads up that you might want to rethink how you want to show your reaction for Justify My Love and Erotica videos due to their sexual content. Some people who react to these videos have no issues with KZbin, while oddly others do. You might want to do a test upload to make sure no issues happen. Anyway, I look forward to the next reaction you do.

Hi ladies! When Blond Ambition arrived in Italy, the Vatican tried to intervene in Madonna's shows in the country. She gathered the press and said (part of it is in the documentary Truth or Dare): “I’m an Italian American and I’m proud of it. Proud of being an American because it is the country I grew up in, the country that gave me the opportunities to be who I am today, and a country that believes in freedom of speech and artistic expression. I am also proud of being an Italian because it is my father’s heritage and because it is the reason that I am passionate about the things that I believe in. It is also the reason my blood boils when I am misunderstood or unfairly judged for my beliefs. I am aware that the Vatican and certain Catholic communities are accusing my show of being sinful and blasphemous. That they are trying to keep people from seeing it. If you are sure that I am a sinner, then let he who has not sinned cast the first stone. If you are not sure, then I beg of you, as righteous men and women of the Catholic Church that worship a God who loves unconditionally, to see my show and then judge me. My show is not a conventional rock show but a theatrical presentation of my music. And like theater it asks questions, provokes thoughts and takes you on an emotional journey, portraying good and bad, light and dark, joy and sorrow, redemption and salvation. I do not endorse a way of life but describe one, and the audience is left to make its own decisions and judgments. This is what I consider freedom of speech, freedom of expression and freedom of thought. To prevent me from performing my show, you, the Catholic Church, are saying that you do not belive in these freedoms. If you do not believe in these freedoms you are imprisoning everyone’s mind. When a mind is imprisoned then our spiritual light dies. When the spirit dies there is no reason to live. Every night before I go on stage I say a prayer, not only that my show will go well, but that the audience will watch with an open heart and an open mind and see it as a celebration of love, life and humanity”. Ahead of her time ❤

Keep it together is my favorite! What a show! Thank you girls, for bringing memories back! Celebration is Amazing, but you should see some more current songs for that I guess. It really is something different again, you'll love it. It's covering her whole career and telling her story by her songs, with so much details and so called easter eggs. She is still amazing, I saw the show a few times already and I'm going to see her again soon. And as I read in the comments, yes, truth or dare is a must see, you'll get behind the scenes of this tour and Madonna as the person behind it.

The marathon performance was exhausting and breathtaking. It left us with a feeling that is hard to put into words. This tour was a first-of-its-kind that mesmerized and fascinated us all. It was a new form of touring that we could never return from. Madonna's performance was so engaging that it felt like we were saying goodbye to our family when it ended. To this day, her energy is palpable, even when watching her on screen. Her voice, from the soothing notes to the piercing high ones, makes your heart race and your body move to the beat. It was an unforgettable experience that we will always cherish. The way she used the chairs with "Keep it Together" as everyone used a chair to keep Madonna supported, and she always had a family with a chair when she would sit akin to catching one from falling just like a family would do, and the metaphoric performance is outstanding. I am excited for you both to see Madonna live, and I assure you it will be like nothing you have ever experienced. Cheerio Neo

@@OurAnxiousReactions When her earliest singles were played on the radio (while her videos were not played yet so people only knew or recognized her voice) some thought Madonna was a black singer. Both Madonna and Stephen Bray (who co-wrote and co-produced "Into the Groove", "Express Yourself", and "Keep It Together" among others) grew up listening to the Detroit radio, and the song KIT was born out of Madonna's question on how they would interpret Sly and the Family Stone.

Yes, it is true that the microphone that Madonna wore on this tour became an insignia and from then on it began to be called Madonna's microphone, as did the corset with pointed cones with which she opened the show, which became very famous too. All the costumes were designed by Jean Paul Gaultier and gave the tour an impeccable style. For me "Keep it together" is one of his best choreographies. Without a doubt this tour leaves a very good taste in your mouth, I loved reviewing it with you girls 😍😍😍

WOW!!-Yes! That spectacular closing number of Keep It Together is a masterpiece in choreography. That chair prop has a history that inspired Madonna that she had paid homage before: Marlene Dietrich used one in the 1931 film The Blue Angel where she played the role of a cabaret singer; then choreographer Bob Fosse and Liza Minnelli picked it up in their 1972 film Cabaret where Minnelli also wore a derby hat; then Madonna used the chair in her 1986 mv of Open Your Heart and in her 1987 Who’s That Girl tour. But here in BAT she crafted a completely complex, intricate chair choreography with such high degree of difficulty that I’d say blew away Dietrich’s and Fosse/Minnelli’s use of the chair prop. In her other BAT performances of this number, after her dancers exited into the trap door, her back stage crew, tech and mgmt. support staff, then lastly her musicians individually did the same exit after she hugged each, until Madonna was the only one left on stage, repeatedly chanting the line-Keep it together/forever and ever-as she walked slowly off stage, the spotlight focused on her bowler hat that she poignantly left on the stage. That dropped hat was like today’s “mic drop” after a heck of a performance. Her iconic image in this number is one of my all-time faves; the bowler hat, blonde ponytail, roller derby outfit and toned body, her energy, the swagger, her command of the stage and her dancers-all paints an aura of a powerful, confident woman who’s ready to tackle and face challenges; a street smart militant feminist you don’t want to mess around with! It’s worth noting that Madonna for her tours selected/hired only top notch back up musicians and dancers. For this tour, she posted auditioning calls for dancers in NYC and LA that partly read…”looking for fierce male dancers…very confident people..the best of the best…Wimps and Wannabes need not apply..” She spent several weeks personally screening dancers until she picked her ensemble. The superb quality of her dancers and musicians attest to her exacting artistic standard that shows in these fantastic tours. Emily cracked me up during the Vogue number when Madonna and her dancers were doing dazzling vogueing hand/wrists twirling, and Brenda asked her if she can do that, and Emily said-No, I’d break my wrists! LOL!! Not very many people can do that either! Watching this tour with you both and your wonderful reactions is so much fun and joy..❤and thank you for sharing this experience.

Great review ladies. Keep It Together is one of my all time performances by Madonna! I expected Brenda to reach for a tissue. 😆 What a great concert, right? This is how icons are born. Now, on to Madonna’s era of sexual fantasies. I think it’s funny people think you will be clutching your pearls when you see Justify My Love, and Erotica. 😆 personally, I can’t wait. While blond ambition was a landmark tour, it’s still not my favourite tour. Believe it or not. The Girlie Show is one of my favs! Can’t wait for this next part of the journey. See you soon. Yes, the 1993 Girlie Show Tour is an underrated artistic masterpiece where she really broke taboos on sexuality and eroticism that liberated repressed attitudes in the pop music world and culture. It opened the doors for today’s female pop music artists to own their sexuality and express it in their artistry.

Not sure if it’s been noted but Madonna traded in the beloved ponytail for the final leg of the tour. She transitioned to sexier curls. At first it seemed odd after seeing promo pics with the ponytail for months in advance, but I actually liked the curls better. Great reaction again ! And it’s so funny to see how amazed the both of you are seeing what she’s doing on a stage. And I mean that in a positive way, don’t get me wrong! This tour was such a different thing than other tours at the time. But since 1987 Madonna got slammed for her bad singing during live performances (and she still is) and to see your reaction to her live vocals is great. But you should watch Truth or Dare after this show cause that is the documentary of the life on the road during this world tour and you get to see her bond with the dancer and much more! Like how she almost got arrested in Canada for doing Like A Virgin ! And she always finds the best dancers. And Donna and Nikki her backup singers are amazing. They were such a great team and they are still missed by many fans even today. And can you imagine that Nikki was injured during this show? She had an ankle injury and had it taped in and even missed some dance parts due to her injury But she was there! And if you think this show was amazing and energetic then wait until you get to see The Girlie Tour live Down Under. That was just three years later than this tour. And if you find this energetic well the Girlie Show was times ten !!!!

Thanks girls! The closing is truly moving for me. I want to tell a short story about this. Before Madonna arrived in Italy, Pope Wojtyla (John Paul II) said these words "it is the most satanic show you have ever seen". Arriving at the airport in Rome, Madonna said only one phrase in front of journalists: "he who is without sin cast the first stone" she added nothing else to the press who shouted out more statements from her. Brilliant. With just a few words she had managed to manipulate those who wanted to manipulate her. Over time we understood how much the Vatican had to hide: the discrimination against homosexuals, the systematic subjugation of women within the Church, the countless cases of pedophilia. Madonna is the greatest communicator in the history of Pop. In a certain sense she engaged in politics. ❤

. . . and U guys R seeing the very beginning of the tour, this is like the 3rd or 4th show overall . . . There were 56; I would have advise to do one of the European shows, Europeans are so enthusiastic and involved. The Japanese audience is quite passive. They are however quite respectful, if U notice there is not much loudness until she is actually done with a song, it is nice but kind-of takes some of the euphoria. I do however love your comments is lovable to see mature reactions. Perhaps consider doing a review/reaction of another show so U guys get to see how every1 and the show itself evolved from the mechanical first shows to the “veteran” and majestic last shows. Madonna is in absolute control and every1 actually performs better, no1 looks tired or rundown. Truly, I beg 🫵 ladies consider doing this on 1 of the European shows, the very last 1. It’s too bad the final number was altered here, normally when she’s done hugging each dancer and they go in the trap door in the floor, one by one each musician also comes , hugs her and drops into the floor, until Madonna is completely repeating the lyrics A Cappella. No clue why she would change that for Japan. Also, I hope you do this same format if you choose to react to her Truth or Dare documentary of this tour( breaking it into separate videos). It’s truly a groundbreaking documentary and I’d love to see you both react to it.😊❤

All of these years later I'm still trying to figure out why Madonna always lip syncs Vogue. Any live version I have ever seen of the song has been lip-synced and not just lip sync but literally it's the song right from the album . I wonder why she doesn't sing this live?
