Saravana Bhavan Style Mushroom Kurma Recipe in Tamil

In this video we will see how to male mushroom kurma recipe in tamil. This recipe is made in a similar taste to the kurma served at Saravana Bhavan hotel. The mushrooms still have the texture to them while fully soaked up in the flavor of the curry. The addition of coconut adds additional creaminess to the recipe and thickens it.

Ingredients:
For Coconut Base:
1/2 cup Coconut
1 tsp Poppy seeds
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 small Cinnamon
1 clove
1 Cardamom
10 pepper corns
6-7 Cashews
required Water
For Mushroom Kurma:
3 tbsp Oil
1 Bay leaf
1 small Cinnamon
1 clove
1 Cardamom
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
1 Onion
1 Tomato
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp Garam masala (or Chicken/Mutton masala)
2 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Chilli powder
1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
2 Green Chillies
Curry leaves
200 g Mushroom
1/2 cup Green peas
required Salt
required Water
coriander leaves for garnishing
