EDIT patch day: Good news! Turns out they weren't reset afterall Hey all. I got some new information regarding number 3(save emissary turn ins until after patch). When patch 7.1 hit all of the emissary quests were cleared & reset. I talked to a GM, and he said that this was a bug, but gave no clear answer if this will happen again in 7.1.5. If they fix the bug you should be good to go, but there's no guarantee. You can risk it if you want, but since there's no HUGE benefit to saving them other than getting a shot at the new legendaries I'd say just turn them in before the patch just to be safe. Sorry about this by the way - I'm usually super thorough about this sort of stuff, but this one got under my radar. I'll try to be more careful in the future. Hopefully you found the other 4 tips useful though! Thanks for watching =)

MadSeasonShow Hey ! Emissary caches happen to roll the loot once you open them, not when you loot them. Which means you can just grab them and stack them up until 7.1.5. Then open them all at once and be allowed to use the 7.1.5 loot table :-)

Yep, I lost 2 caches when patch 7.1 launched because I was saving them and thought I still have time (they weren't naturally expiring). When patch hit all my emmissarys got re-randomized (got different reps than before the patch).

Jewelry is also buffed so you should hang on to everything which is higher ilvl. Now of example a socket is worth 10 lvls but after the patch it will probably be less maybe 5

From what I understand, there are also BoA scrolls that you can buy and send to your alts if you reach a certain AK level. They cost ~1k resources each so it's just a cheaper way to get alts ranked up if you already have a main with a high artifact knowledge. From what I've seen so far you unlock these notes when you get +5 levels ahead of them(for example if your highest is 15 you can buy the 10 scrolls, if your highest is 25 you can buy the 20 scrolls). That same level 17 strategy should still apply though - just got to use that AK 15 scroll before picking up the ones in your queue.

I take my alts through unlocking Su'esh WQ so they can farm Devilsaur Shock Baton. It's a relatively minor loss of AP for the benefit of additional rolls on a great trinket.

in 7.1 Blizzard repopulated everyones emissaries back to 3. (If u had done all 3 the day before, you had 3 new when u logged in next day). I would advise against holding back on emissaries, since you can get 2-3 extra by just doing them anyway if 7.1.5 does the same, you can't really be sure tho.

Hey all. i am here to tell you guys that the artifact knowlegde will be automatically added to your current knowledge. For example; if your AK is level 1,3 days after you put in the research it will automatically be AK level 2 doesnt matter if you learned it or not. so theres basically no point saving it at 2 Artifact Research and waiting for 7.1.5. Just trying to point that one out.

Jewelry will give more stats depending on an ilvl so a 15ilvl upgrade for jewelry should be an upgrade regardless of the stats. Don't discard items that are small ilvl upgrades.

Márk Nyilas If the vers one gives me more dmg then yes I will. There are "behind the sceen" numbers that determen which stat is the best for a certain class and giving more stats per ilvl makes a "bad" stat worth taking. And yeah this system sux.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought blizzard stated items are created the second you receive an emissary chest. So there's no reason to save the emissary chests for the next patch.

I believe this is true - I meant to save your turn ins until after the patch though. There may be a hitch with this however as patch 7.1 apparently reset all of the emmisary quests. Right now I have a ticket to see if the same will happen in 7.1.5...in which case you definitely don't want to save them. Hopefully I get a response soon so I can update! Thanks for watching

Nomad obliterum ash comes from melting down legion crafted gear, the more expensive the recipe, more ash per item crafted

Not necessarily true...On my engineer I make the most expensive goggles and they only give me 50-80 obliterum ash. On my alchemist I make the infernal alchemist stones that are WAY cheaper to make and get 140-170 obliterum ash out of them.

Why do you think it's the opposite with jewelry? To me since they're making the secondaries weaker, it would seem that jewelry would be less effected by the change and you would need a much larger IL change than with gear that has primary stats that will be worth more.

Ok, but the entire point of the patch is to make secondary stats have a substantially lower impact on dps output. IE if your best secondary is currently about as powerful as 87% of one intellect and now it's 47% of one int, it would only take 5 or 10 item levels for an item to be better if it has int but not your best secondary. But a jewelry won't have the much more powerful intellect stat so it would take more crappy stats to make up for not having the best secondary stat so you might need 25 or more item levels to make it better.

on ptr your secondary stats scales are nerfed. it think its about 50 less per %. lower ilvl jewelry has less stats and higher has more (scaling). making the gap between them much larger. the change has more of an impact on jewelry because of no primary stat. so if you're a demo lock and you're using that 840 piece that has heavy haste, that 890 titanforged you got that isnt optimized as well will most likely be better after patch.

i heard all the artifact knowledge notes in your inventory are consumed as soon as you use an artifact knowledge kompendium, so in fact it doesnt really makes sense to store up 2 of the notes as they get consumed anyway, am i wrong?

As far as I know that's only for the ones in your inventory/bank. In the build with this video any research notes on the ground(in queue) aren't affected by that, so you can get to 17 if you pick them up after leveling up to 15. They recently updated the PTR though so not sure if they changed it. Unfortunately I can't test it as you're now no longer able to start(not pickup) research notes if you're < 15 AK. Theoretically though as long as you have 2 cooking and ready to pickup when the patch hits, you should be able to get to 17 right off the bat. Once again though, no guarantees! They could fix it.

Nice video, I have been saving a lot of order resources, because I knew we would be able to buy AK for order resources. I actually got 145 k order resources atm, I didn't think it will cost just 500-1000 per scroll, that's really cheap and I guess it will change. I hope I can buy scrolls and send to alts, it will be great if it's possible.

Yep if you go with that quest trade in it's 7500 for 1-15. But if you have a higher AK on your main character, you can buy cheaper BOA scrolls(think they're around ~1k resources right now). They're always 5 levels below your max AK, so for example if you have AK 15 you can buy BoA AK 10 scrolls, if you have AK 20 you can buy AK 15 scrolls etc.. Super good for all of the altoholics out there

Ok, I am at 17 lvl of AK on my main character at the moment, but when this is out I'd prolly be a lot further. To be honest the artefact knowledge grind was the main reason why I didn't wanna make a 2nd/third char although I am basically playing/maining 4 classes all the time since I've been playing WoW, which is years, so this changed my mind now, will try to make them 110 before this is out.
