great video. Loved the silhouette of the deer and the one of the two deer in the light next to the tree. Subject, light, composition, edit. Such a simple premise but not always simple to do! Always nice to have a reminder that not every photo needs extreme editing! Cheers.

Mads, I would have sworn the dear were facing away. Interesting how our brains interpret something which is ambiguous. I liked the way you talked about the light and how you chose scenes with both sunlight and shadow. I have seen scenes like this but usually I don't have my camera along and cannot stop. You put labels on some things that I instinctively feel about certain kinds of composition, and by doing so, you have helped me better understand why some details do matter. Great video!

I thought the larger deer was looking away from your position with the smaller deer looking towards the camera. I liked the title this week Mads as I always have a smile when I see someone asking the question "what are the best settings to capture a particular type of image" as we all know there is no such magic formula. In my opinion the best ingredient is to acquire knowledge, the more you have the more proficient you will be and channels and tutorials like yours is one of the directions I normally point people if I'm asked that question

To go a step further. If these deer were from different species (whitetail deer and mule deer) it would be proper to say deers. English is silly 😂

Is it just me or @ 1:22 into the video, can you spot the face in the tree. Look to the right tree as Peter passes about a foot above his head. It looks to me as it's looking down a 5 o'clock

Just beautiful shots! Heading to Colorado early July. Hopefully I can capture some wildlife in addition to landscapes 👍🏻👍🏻. Deer is one of those English words that works both as a singular and a plural. I go out in my neighborhood to capture wildlife and I get a squirrel… Mads gets a White Stagg 🙄😁

If I can comment, for the deer picture in the light and a tree, surprised you didn’t tone down the brightness of the tree to give more focus on the deer

Great video as always! Love the shot with the deers. I wonder how you managed the exposure in this high contrast scene. You still using the zebra display? I would also be curious to know how important the tripod is personally for you. I would find a challenge interesting where you try to shoot handheld for a day and share with us your experience 😊

nice Video Mads! Thank you very much. Maybe someone can give me an advice for a lens decision here... I actually want to switch from the Fuji X-T3 to the Sony mirrorless system, mostly because of the lenses. I actually wonder if I should get the 12-24 f4 or the 16-35 f4 PZ... I only shoot landscapes and whenever I come into the situation also architecture. But it's not that I'd earn money with it. I also take the full system on trekking tours between 5 and 7 days from now and then... Maybe the 16-35 would be the better solution overall? Also because of the simple filters? I just fear that I'd miss the 12mm often. Not sure how often people rly use the 12mm outside though. My only other lens is a 70-200mm usually... Thanks for every comment!

No malaria but do you have tics? We have tics all over the woodland and beach area brush, people’s backyards and anywhere deer might go. Every preserve has signs to stay on the trail to avoid tics but you can still get them on you.

Please stop with the click-bait titles and thumbnails. You're better than that.
@MadsPeterIversen
@MadsPeterIversen Жыл бұрын
The fact of the matter is that nobody clicks a "landscape photography vlog #387"-title. Each time I go "soft" on a title the video just flops and that's a week's income out the window. Just like a book, a Netflix show, or any other kind of media I'm in competition with the rest of the platform. Attention craving titles are a necessity, if you disagree and your entire judgement of a video is based on a title and thumbnail even though you know what to expect from me, I'm sorry I do not know what to say. If people don't click the video they don't see it and the irony is that this video has an above-average retention rate and an above average like/dislike ratio. So no, I'll not stop making attention craving titles before people start clicking and watching the non-attention-craving titles, it's that simple...
