Making Christmas star decorations from clay ✨

Happy holidays! This is a beginner friendly pottery project that you can do at home. They don't have to be ceramic - make them with salt dough and paint them however you'd like.
Salt Dough recipe:
1 cup salt
2 cups plain flour
0.5 cup water
Mix together in a bowl, make your shapes and lay on a baking sheet. Bake for 2-3 hours on the lowest setting that your oven can go to, and then paint!

Love the video! What is your drying process like for flat thin objects like these? I’ve found if I don’t lay a flat heavy surface over them or flip them while they’re drying, the moisture will curl one side, even if I cover while drying. These stars look fairly flat so I was wondering if you had any hawt tips. Thanks and Happy Holidays! 🎄❤️
