Is there an option to tell the Interface in the Patch in which geometrical order the fixtures physically are installed? as if not - its impossible for the AI to see the whole "Design concept" and create a "lef to right" or "up down" effect or other stuff on the stage.
@maestrodmx11 ай бұрын
Hi Jason, currently MaestroDMX assumes fixtures are installed in the order they are arranged in 1D or 2D. You also have some control over the mapping e.g. linear versus zig-zag. In a future update there will be an interface that will let you move fixtures around on a stage in the UI.

yes you can move fixtures location on the stage to support pixel mapping effects.

Hi, there were a number of blizzard lights, not totally sure since we worked with a 3rd party to setup the stage. If you want to see what lights our users love pls see our user driven facebook group facebook.com/groups/295672492496021

this is exactly what I've been looking for. I have a flightcase that is supposed to be plug and play for everything and I could just slot this one in without having to worry about stuff. I am just starting to set all of my stuff up, so I was wondering what kind of lights work best with this type of device. Are there any fixture lists I need to keep tabs of or any brands that work best? I would love to see a more in depth tutorial on these, as it does seem to be fairly new and I am worried about long term support and longevity a little bit

Hi Felix, MaestroDMX works well with any DMX controllable fixture. MaestroDMX will ship with a fixture library that will be updated regularly. You can also manually add fixtures if you have a fixture that isn't in the library, e.g., off-brand knockoff fixtures. We'll start posting tutorial videos here next week. Regarding long-term support, MaestroDMX was created by Limbic Media, a company producing lighting controllers in the commercial world for the past 5 years. Pre-order now to save 25% maestrodmx.com/

Where can we find the phone app mentioned in this video?
@maestrodmx5 ай бұрын
The web app is served from the MaestroDMX unit over WIFI or via an ethernet connection. You can use the app over any web browser from any device. Easy!

don't see any app in Play Store?
@maestrodmx10 күн бұрын
The user interface is a web application that gets served from the MaestroDMX unit itself. No need to install an app, you just need a web browser to access it.

Good question, in theory yes. To be honest we haven't tested it at BPMs that high. We'll try to post something on this channel in the future that demos this.
