Just picked this figure up and aside from the arm issue it's pretty sweet, a Green Goblin in this style would be great but the two that I'd like to see the most would be Hobgoblin and a McFarlane inspired Lizard, not sure how they'd manage the clothes on the Lizard though, I imagine based on their Spider-Verse Miles they'd go the cloth route for the lab coat.

Mafex really upped their game. That Spidey trinity is total bliss. I'm still a bit sore from Spidey's blue diaper, but I don't even mind not finding the ML retro Spidey. There's no replacing those three in the main display.

Thanks for this review, although I like the Marvel Legends interpretation of most of the Carnage figures they've done this Mafiax(have a feeling I spelled that wrong-but anyway) review is interesting. I LOVE the look of this thing, easily the best accessories we've ever got with a Carnage figure, and honestly I also like the stylized look to the mouth. Sure it looks weird but the teeth would be super fragile if that area wasn't filled in and technically the black sections weren't raised in the original art, so yeah I agree it's strange looking but I don't mind it. Honestly I would pick this up if it wasn't so pricey and if I hadn't just recently got the Venompool wave version, sure that one isn't classic but it's close enough and WAY more affordable. Plus MAFEX figures are not easy to find in the UK, the only one I own is the ROTJ Boba Fett, which would be on my top 10 action figures of all time list, so who knows maybe if I can find it for a good price I'll grab it.

Good review. I’m making a spider man looking display and it’s going to have a lot of symbiotes in it. I feel like with the symbiotes you can mix and match since they can shape shift. I have the revoltech carnage for the more crazy slimy tentacles version and I have the marvel legend absolute carnage for the also crazy but less crazy look. I think the pink mouth is fine but I personally wanted an open mouth. I feel like all characters with a giant jaw like carnage should have a jaw joint

Looks like a pretty cool representation of Carnage. The black veins seem like the best iteration out of all those other figures and they eyes look great and so do the accessories. The only thing that stands out as wonky is that alt head, but I think if it's viewed head on or afar then it looks better.

I don't like the Yamaguchi figures but I think my favorite Carnage out there is that one, the overall spikey style of it is what makes me like it more, then my second favorite is this one and finally the latest Marvel Legends one.

I got mine and it’s a cool figure but both the arms pop off from the biceps a bit too easy as well. My Wolverine wasn’t as bad as this though.

I think the screaming head would've been alot better if they had done what they did with the closed mouth head by just sculpting the teeth and having the pink a little further in, giving it more depth. Wouldn't look as weird. But that is just a minor gripe on an otherwise AMAZING figure!

My only problem with the figure so far is the length of his torso. It's definitely a bit long, his hands don't go below his crotch like Venom's or Spidey's. It's either a problem with the sculpt or the joint, I feel like it has something to do with the joint because of how gappy it looks when you move it.

I still think that Mafex do have QC issues all the time. That what causes the delay on most of its products just to keep the QC under control else it could be a lot worse. Let just say that they are very ambitious on their production design by throwing out all their upcoming products way ahead of schedule while their QC measures aren't quite align.

That SAME arm is a problem on my Carnage too (even had that extra nub that I had to clip off). It's looser than the other and the bicep pops off easily. Really my only major complaints with the figure. When it happened the first time I thought the bicep had sheered off and I had one of those heart attack gasps.
