The 3.0 is now better but the 2.0 is still a better fit with the Mafex Batpod. I display the 3.0 by itself & the 2.0 on the pod. You can place 2.0's unmasked head on the 3.0 but it doesn't lock in. You have to use blue tack or some kind of office putty to keep it on.

I have version 3.0 which doesn't pop out arms and hands very easily, doesn't have any hole for figure stance . Except the chest plate is reinforced with two small circular magnets superglued vise versa to keep the chest plate intact. The third version have three interchangeable heads , angry expression, White eyes emotionless expression and the one Attached to the neck joint. You are kind of lucky to have 2.0 . Because the third version maybe better but doesn't have unmasked interchangeable head of Bruce Wayne.

Really nice batman figure, the mayfex all chrome phasma coming out looks awesome, I bet it will be hard to review though like reviewing a mirror lol

this is my fav 1/12 batman figure ever. i think it's the best ever.... btw i have two batman ver.2... they dont have problems as yours. but it's too fragile.. anyway , nice review...

So I am down to either get the first version or the second. The first has the are fall out a lot but you can out it back in. The new one breaks easily from what I have heard. I definitely wont get a replacement and I want to play it safe. Which should I get?

+legomattanddino Maher If you are planning on getting the Batpod, I would say get this one because of the posable cape. If you just want it to stand on a shelf and don't care for the better likeness or interchangeable heads that this one has, I'd get the first one.

So in a sense, get the first one for fashion but the second one for function. Possible capes I have never had and will be cool to have. Plus from what I have gathered this has less problems. So that's why I already ordered this batman. Just a question, how careful should I be with it? Should I treat it like a baby or should I simply not take any chances with stiff joints but overall it can take abuse?

legomattanddino Maher I would say be very gentle with it. Be careful when removing the head for the first time... my first one snapped at the neck when I did. Also, try not to remove the hands unless you absolutely need to. They're very difficult to get on and quite fragile. Catwoman was the worst as both of her wrists broke on me, but this one was also difficult despite the wrists being slightly larger.

hi victoria do you have any sh figuarts in your collection? the kylo ren is amazing and will blow the mafex version out of the water just from what ive seen from the articulation problems with your batman i cant recommend them enough great vid as always ; )

Hey Victoria, have you tried boiling some water and submerging the stiff joint in the left shoulder for about 30 sec

No. I'm pretty sure it's glued and not stuck. I heard of another case where someone found this as well. I'm not sure if boiling water would loosen up glue or not.

These figures are a bit cheaper than a lot of what I've seen from Figma, SH Figuarts and they seem to be trying to pack in as much as those companies for a cheaper price. Maybe that's the problem, they might not be spending enough money to make the initial designs come to life as well as they should? No problem! Always loved your reviews!!

I got the armored batman from Mezo. I wasn't aware of it till now, so I unfortunately had to pay about $155 for it, but man is it a great figure. If the price is acceptable, or if you are interested in their future Batman figures, you should definitely check those out. The real fabrics are really, really premium, too. Great stuff.

Great review. I want to point out a few things. Received my piece yesterday. Though I am not an action figure collector of the usual sort, I am crazy for the Christopher Nolan The Dark Knight Trilogy and a die hard fan of Batman. When I opened the box... I saw... can't express... damn good highly detailed figure! Very realistic, very true to the aesthetic detail of the character depicted in the movie. Now for the negative sides people complain about... Under the packaging it is clearly mentioned "Adult Collectible, not a toy. Recommended for age 15+". So, if you toy with it like some one under the age of 15... you definitely mess with it. But if you are an adult enthusiast and toy with it gently... it is a big fun. Yes, off course you can keep it on shelf and see Christian Bale as Batman in your room without watching the TDK trilogy constantly every time. I recommend it to those (adults off course), who have been a huge fan of Batman from their childhood and saw TDKT in their adulthood and was completely spellbound. Also to those who saw the Hot Toys figures but don't want to (or can't) spend that much amount of money on highly detailed action figures. Because in my opinion this figure competes very close to Hot Toys DX 12 in terms of aesthetic details. My only complain is, in India it's selling at almost double the price compared to US, $81.29 in ebay and that's really very annoying to me. Perhaps that's because of the added shipping charges and taxes. But I am satisfied with its looks. Damn awesome! WARNING: NOT FOR CHILDREN or CARELESS ADULTS!

You know the left arm in my figure is super glued instead of the right arm as yours. But I am OK with it bcz rest of the articulations are properly functioning. If I don't apply force to it, I think parts are not going to be broken. But thanks to you... Bcz your review truly helped me to make my purchase decision.

As you may remember I had LOADS of problems with this exact figure. Them after they sent me my 3rd figure it wasn't enough that it had problems they made me BREAK my figures knees and elbows to get a refund then they didn't even need the picture if the broken toy. I think after dealing with the problem 3 F'N times they could of let me have a refund & a figure that is somewhat salvageable. And I didn't just buy the Batman im.pissed because I went all out on the line with selina Kyle (as y remember;), Joker, Clown Joker, AND batman himself. After I had the 2nd AND 3rd Batman, I wished for my original back. That was a solid figure except its broken foot. So now I have all these Mafex figures (one on way next month) but NO Batman. Ugghhh! I'm hoping their redo of the original pans out because IMO MAFEX itself owes me a Batman for making go through months of BS. Glad your figure us in one piece

I don't think you bought a new figure. Looks like it's been fixed by someone. Apart from that I agree what you said regarding the qc. Mafex needs to have the quality of figuarts as Mafex already have the aesthetics and engineering to match figuarts.

+Baidujya Saikia If you read down a little further, another person's arm was glued in place as well. I'm pretty certain it was a sealed figure. I hope the QC improves with their future figures, otherwise I won't be likely to continue supporting them.

Baidujya Saikia Both this figure and the one I exchanged before it had the smudgy looking Bruce heads. It's not really dirt. It's either paint or a highlight wash that went wrong.
