Personalmente no encuentro que no pueda estar a la altura del original, me parecia un poco exagerado que puedas destrozar un hidrante con bate en primer lugar. Los basuereros no se deforman pero caen y pierden su tapa en cambio. Ademas montones de fisicas y efectos como cuando explotan los autos estan muuucho mejor logradas. La I.A. es un poco mas indiferente pero sus animaciones son de mejor calidad tambien. Muchas edificaciones y paisajes me han dejado con la boca abierta y pensar que aun lo mueve la vetusta xbox one es impresionante

@@JaimeIsJaime tienes razón la verdad, pero lo de sobornar a los policías para que no te arresten o que te persigan y las tonterías esas de abrir el maletero, echar gasolina en el coche o mirar por si rebasas el límite de velocidad para que la policía no vaya a por tí son detalles que perdió el 3 respecto del 2 y los podrían haber añadido en este para darle más interacción con el entorno. Además un interfaz y minimapa más vintage o clásicos se agradecería y lo otro que tampoco me acaba de convencer es que dejaran el gunplay del 3 pero aun así considero que es un buen remake.

I've explored alot, and almost 100% the game. I played the original back in the day, and found myself really enjoying this remake. Say what you will about hangar 13, but they have absolutely redeemed themselves, after the mess that was mafia 3.

Try it, I think 90% of games are showing revolvers very ridiculously. There should be possibility to manualy draw hammer and then shoot single action because shooting double action only is nonsense in real life and I hate when some game has double action only revolver and there is delay between I click and it fires, why the hell can't I manualy pull hammer before I fire first shot? It makes no sense, nobody is going to gun fight with revolver with not cocked hammer.

I just finished the remake and never played the original. I loved it personally and I really enjoy the little content they added for free ride. There will always be people who prefer the original and I get that, it's kind of like MGS1 and Twin Snakes. At some point I'll probably play the original but I'm glad both versions exist.

Few things, that are pain in the a** in remake; - linearity - in original there was more ways to complete the mission, harbor is way too linear - holding by the hand on every possible way, even on classic difficulty (BIG GOLD MARKERS allways visible, square pointing where to stop on the ground, icons on every interactive object (cant forget mission with Morello's brother and tanker - that was way better in original) - Difficulty - sometimes its too hard to complete mission without failing it (specially those with vehicle healthbars) - music - Lack of small details like destroying small objects on map (presented on this video), inability to shoot through barriers (specially visible on Hotel Corleone mission), fuel consumption only "on paper" - Pedestrians are just dumb and glitched - dont react to horns, when tram is stopping al cars behind it also stops (for ages), when they TRY get inside parked car, they simply teleport outside of it - Too few road lights - All clocks in world are stopped on 3 o'clock Thats all, and that much.

At some Point s in the Remake i Had the Feeling of a speed Run through the Story. They Cut some driving parts in the Missions and some cutscene have terrible pacing. For example in the Motel Mission ,tommy Waits Outside and only some Seconds later the Shooting in the Motel starts. In the original Tommy smokes 30 Seconds or even longer ,you See the ,,No Smoking " sign it creates alot more atmosphere and makes Tommy cooler.

It's jarring seeing the overall presentation treated in high fidelity, while some gameplay animations left kinda janky looking. I know it's a nitpick, but it's just a shame they didn't bother to retouch it at all, since that difference in quality makes it all the more noticeable

For thoses who have the game, would the car explode if you shoot at the doors from the side? In the original you can shoot hundreds of bullets in the doors and the car will never explode. In mafia 3 it will. I wonder if they removed this realistic aspect from the original game.

Unfortunately, GTA Trilogy isn't as good looking as this. Damn! The MAFIA devs did an awesome fookin' job on this one, fook! The original was is still impressive according to 2002 standards. The remake is one of the few remakes that is genuinely worth a purchase.

Completed already.. my question are: -why they delete yellow pete and many others from the remake? -why the game ai is so stupid?we are in 2020! Hope for some patch.. -why theTommy movement are so woody? Hope for some patch? -why they don`t make something like enter in special areas like autodrome or airport or some other place in the endgame and for example make laps in autodrome or something.. -why they dont let us choose which music we use for every mission..( like to have a walkman..) In the original the music in the first mission was beautiful, happy.. and slowly slowly become disturbing (just right the situatuon that is a genious idea from illusion soft...) -and then swimming on the sea was too much? The Game was completed only to 70% based on my personal opinion.. i was more happy if they postponed it for another year. I just want to clarify that i didn't want a game similar to GTA, for me mafia was the best game that i play in my life and this is unacceptable.. I finish original mafia at least 30 times... and this is offensive........ One more thing is the italian dubbing of Paulie that is really disaster plus the final mission dialogue of Tommy and Sam that you can't compare with the original.. why this big changes in dialogues?that are not needed at all...

@sddas asdasd both games were as linear as each other.... it really was not that different. i actually thought there was more paths to take in the new game... i didnt notice any random spawn point for enemies. and no mission was just waves and waves of enemies. did you play this game? throwing animation was a bit bad yes but all in all the game was pretty solid, very very good remake does justice to the original.

sddas asdasd Did you even bother playing the game? Linear is present here yes, but not forced upon every single time. For instance, in “Omerta” you have the option to go clear left throughout the mission and beat it with little to no struggle, go sneaking from car to car in the hangar, or just do the usual with the cover and shoot process straight from the balcony. This games is an 8.5/10 at least. Far better than the original.

original has soul and heart in it - one can tell the details were made with care. these details weren't expected especially in 2002 year game. new one is cash grab that tries to slide off old games story fat and fanbase that was hoping all the gameplay quality, good mindful decisions in game making, new ones only plus is newer graphics. the original game producers should have made the remake. i tried new one went to freeride, the chases were so easy it was ruined. is like the game developers never read what hardcore community has said. they ''fixed'' things that weren't broken. i'm not some nerd who wants to type long text but who knows they know. if new is played by people who started with mafia 1 they know instantly new one sucks. just being real. there is so much to be said but these people probably never read this.

Just what the fuck is the new voices. Original sounds like a Tommy, including the nice 1930's feel to the accent (I would know), while the New accent is more of a Tommeh with a throat that just cuts off after every word. Sounds like all the actors are ready to cough. And all the officers are Irish...? Oh and the lighting is incredibly dark, did they know that lights existed in the 1930's? They don't just light the area around the frame of the light, it lights the room, and the windows don't just contrast a dark room and light outside, it's supposed to shine through the window hence natural light hence why they have windows to begin with. God what a mess!
