It would be incredible if the game was set in the 1900s, and showed a bit of Leo Galante, Fank Vinci, the Salieri family and other characters who are known to have been in Sicily, like Clemente's uncle.

I’m calling it now, the guy in the trailer is Don Calo He became boss in 1914 And in chapter 1, Mafia 2 Vito says he’s head of the Sicilian mob And in the trailer, he’s standing watching over the place Operation Husky takes place with Vito in Mafia 2. And maybe he doesn’t like that so he goes down to stop it as we see in chapter 1. Operation Husky takes place in 1943 And Don Calo doesn’t die till 1954

He sees the war happening from his balcony or whatever he’s on in the trailer and steps in to stop it. Now I’m not sure if the trailer picture that shows the shot out windows and dead bodies on the ground, top of the staircase is the same war happening in mafia 2, but why would they include it. It the only picture and setting besides San Celeste, we’ve seen before

There is a high chance that there will be some characters from Mafia 1 definitive edition, but the main character and many other will be completely new as there is nobody from Mafia 1 remake Cast that worked on the upcoming game.

As a person who loves Red Dead Redemption 1, 2, and GTA5, I love playing Mafia, and this game I am waiting for, like I am waiting for GTA6, but what is special about this Mafia is that it speaks in the year 1900, according to what I read. This makes me admire and excited about it. I think that there will be horses with cars, because according to what I read, it was done. The use of horses as a means of transportation stopped in 1910

Mafia is a game that can give GTA competition only if 1. Luxury Houses can be bought 2. Lot of Activities after story mode complete 3. Buy Clothing 4. Enemies chasing you until you kill them or they kill you or you lost them 5. Run Businesses to generate money 6. Strip Clubs 7. Online Feature like GTA 5 8. Bank Robberies , Store Robberies 9. Modern Guns in DLC 10. Drugs Operation 11. Mafia 2 buying drinks and food feature 12. Extortion 13. Shooting from Cars 14. Tiny Crosshair like GTA 5 15. Swim and Drive boats 16. Home activities 17. Entering a Lot of Building and Stores 18. Slow motion feature when shooting 19. Dirty Cops getting payed to kill you 20. Armory in your house I just think Mafia series is the best games ever built but the only thing that killed the vibes is that the Big Map is empty without activities after the story So if that can be corrected , no one will be studying GTA . and the previous games can actually be reedit and add more activities and make the game hot again.

They should take a leaf out of of godfather 2’s book and allow you to rise the ranks, control your own crew and take over rackets/control rackets and shake down local owners to make money. You can send your crew on hits and make them drive you around etc… make you actually feel like a high ranking mafia member instead of a low level soldier your whole life

I hope this Mafia: The Old Country has a Mafia 2 aspect to it in terms of Gameplay. For example, Clothing, Gas Stations, Speeding Tickets etc. I feel these aspects of the Gameplay when it finally came into Mafia 2, gave the Game an edge and gave players a Unique Gaming Experience.

We all know how the Mafia franchise likes to implement some callbacks to other characters in the franchise, with Vito being the one who killed Tommy and being Lincoln Clay's sub lieutenant, which opens a little door for speculation. Now that we know that the game will take place in Sicily in the past, the character could be someone who helped Vito when he was fighting Mussonline in the initial prologue of Mafia 2, and could even be the old man who was in the tank and who saved him from being executed. . They've always made sure the main characters in the franchise correlate in some way. But there is a character that, although he only appeared in 2 games, could be a good option too, being Leo Galante, a very strong character in the franchise, who, despite not appearing in the remake of the 1st, could appear in this one. new game.

There was a cigarette card in Mafia DE that had a mobster from the west coast named Louis Romeo I’m guessing that he’s the Jack Dragna of “Los Ondas” (Los Angeles). It would be good for countinuity, but I highly doubt we will have young Salieri. Devs seem to have broken the canon, because in original Salieri was older than in the remake, where in cutscene with the photo of Don Peppone, Salieri and Morello, Tommy says they're just kids, while in the original it seemed like they both were past 30 years old in the photo, hence Tommy calls them "commandeers of Peppone regime".

Since it will be set in 1900s we've gotta ride horses most of the gameplay. I think it'll look like late rdr2. Also I wish it would have the actual map of Sicily. I'd love to see and roam around real Palermo, Messina, most of countryside etc.

Dude this trailer came out 2 weeks ago and I just barely found out about it! Man I'm hyped. This franchise means so much to me and my sisters because we used to play the original on our dad's computer when we were little kids. Mafia 1 actually has the honor of being the first video game I ever played lol I was 3 years old at the time. I've always cherished these games and gone back and played the Original at least once a year pretty much my whole life. It's a ritual at this point. Mafia 3 was honestly a major let down even though the story is amazing..I'm just glad they are not repeating the same mistake and they are going back to what made these games stand out.

The game should have it be three playable characters (Leo, Salieri and Morello) like how the second game was which are younger version of the characters. They should do a sequel to Old country in the 1910’s and the third and final game in 1920’s connecting to Mafia 1. It should be linear based like Mafia 2 but keep the free ride from Mafia 1.

mafia old country if placed in the 1800s will properly feature Sicilian nationalism, hence the rise and romanticized of the lupara, the honest soldier weapon. Basically, Mario Puzo’s the Sicilian

I don't see it being Salieri or Vinci, both of them were born in like the 1880s, Vinci being in 1885, and Mafia old country is set in the early 1900s, so if they joined the Mafia, they would have been between 15-23 years old for when they join, if they are in Mafia OC, I see them being like that Marty kid from Mafia 2 except probably not super energetic. Also, when Frank was talking about how Salieri was in the past, he talked about him as if he was a D-bag. And Vinci, he doesn't say much, the one time he does, it's when he's the enemy, that's not someone I see playing and thinking he's going to turn out to be a badass, only to find out in Mafia 2 he's a total d*ck. I think it will be Luigi Marino. We don't know much about his history, all that's known is when Paulie says, "He used to be a stone-cold killer back in the day" and he's clearly from Italy because of the accent and having a hard time speaking English. My theory for what they did in Mafia DE is they made Luigi an insignificant regular old guy so that we wouldn't guess it would be him, but they left one short but big hint, but then we'll end up forgetting about him because he's so insignificant to the story of Mafia DE. And then when we actually play Mafia OC, we'll see that he used to be a total badass, then at the end of the game we'll have some sort of cutscene of him moving to Lost Haven to get away from the chaos of the Old Country. Like how in Mafia DE when Tommy is old, he gets locked up, gives up his life of crime, and moves to Empire Bay, then he is killed by Vito and Joe, and that leads us into Mafia 2.

A new Mafia game? Man I hope this is gonna be good then Mafia 3. I hope mafia: the old country Is more lot like The Godfather the game. In The Godfather the game, you start out as an associate, then move up through the ranks until you become Boss (or Don) of the Family.
