Of course, teste di moro and the cyclop throwing boulders might just be included as famous Sicilian folklore stories to just make the setting of the game more authentic - like the lemons, catholic paintings and everything else. But I like your theory, and I hope it will be confirmed. After all, there must be a reason for the young lady portrait, under two other portraits (parents?). Thank you for your work!

@caslloveer0 I honestly don't mind playing as a woman aslong as it fits the story, ghost of Yotei I don't have a problem with aslong as it explands on the myth of the ghost and her writing and reasoning for taking up the mantle are good and they can't really fuck up the combat all they gotta do is copy the first and add more stances since it's already perfect some shit the VA said is in bad taste but she is just a Voice actor and if her performance is grand and that's all that really matter bit concerning that it's a different team like why would you chance the team when you already have one that knocked it out of the park with the first ghost but I'm optimistic more for ghosts than other projects in development as for Mafia I don't think the is any story that fits a female protagonist in the series it would go against the authenticity of the previous entries i just think it would be hilarious if they went that route considering everyone wants to have a female protagonist now even though it's actively damaging their reputations and sales.

historically the Sicilian mob was always ruled by the oldest male in the family, and given the voice we heard in the teaser trailer he sounds old enough that the picture might also be a son, daughter and maybe granddaughter as well, or pictures of him and his wife when they were young. at least i believe it to be a possibility, not sure if it is like that, but the option is there, and it would also make a thrilling story if our protagonist was in love with the granddaughter, since the Sicilians and Italians are very protective of their girls and women like you said in the video.

I want a mafia game where you start from nothing and rise through the ranks making money however you see fit, potentially able to become boss. Obviously with a good story as well. I like the mafia games and GTA games but my problem with them has always been that there’s not enough freedom to make money however you want to. Theres pretty much a set story when it comes to crime (aside from small things like robbing gas stations and whatnot in GTA). I’m hoping this game and GTA 6 have more options to make money on your own.
