I noticed you guys use a paper or film on the backside of the clips when dipping. What is that protective paper? I’ve used painters tape but it peeled off the primer under it.

Great channel, thanks for all the great tips. I'm dipping an engine cover with raised white letters, how do I keep the film from not sticking to the letters so they will be raised above the film? Again thanks for the channel.

I did my first dip and it came out great UNTIL i applied the clear coat. The clear coat damaged the dip so bad I will need to do everything all over. All paints are from One Hit Wonder. This is on a safariland holster by the way.

Just curious on the pistol slides. Do u have any chipping issues and what can I do to fix or stop them. Recently did one of my guns as a test and looked great then I test fired to make sure all was working properly and notice some chipping around ejector. I used ohw white with a automotive grade flat matte
