President Biden warned that it was “dangerous” for anyone to claim Donald Trump’s criminal conviction was the result of a rigged trial, as the former president hit out at the verdict against him as Republicans maligned the integrity of America’s justice system.
Donald Trump hit out furiously on Friday morning at the new status of “felon” conferred on him by a New York jury, whose guilty verdict made him the first former US president ever to become a convicted criminal.

I'm not American. I don't live there. I follow American politics because it affects the rest of the world. I have opinions. Many times I get told to shut up because it doesn't concern me. If Trump gets elected he will take America out of NATO. As a consequence Russia might attempt to reunite the Soviet Union. Europe will get drawn into a conflict and this concerns me a lot. You are correct. He will not go quietly. It is a shame the trial was not televised. I watched coverage of it every day on various legacy networks, including international. It was difficult having to listen to people read transcripts, but it was necessary to hear this historic event unfold. The case was laid out clearly and the judge was fair, calm, and honorable IMO. DJT should get some jail time for disobeying the gag orders, disrespecting the court, and spitting in the face of the law by covering up a damning personal event during an election. A message needs to be sent and heard loudly, NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW in America (Donald).

Will Judge Merchan send Trump to prison? If you were the judge in a case where the defendant incessantly proclaims his innocence, is incapable of feeling, let alone expressing remorse, would you be more inclined, or less inclined to be lenient? On what grounds can Trump plead for special consideration, other than being a candidate for the presidency? I look forward to the moment when Merchan asks if the defendant has anything to say before sentencing. If what ensues is anything other than owning up to and apologizing for his crimes, then he should be prepared to serve a period of imprisonment.

There's a pattern that needs to be highlighted to his supporters, plus (as on Kimmel's show) comparing what he said back in 2020 was going to happen under a Biden presidency, and what has actually happened.
