I'd love to know who that Australian was that visited that service station the day before we did. There really isn't too many adventure riders in those parts, let alone a single Australian rider.

Hi Dave, do you have an itunes link to that magadan title song? It's stuck in my head for some unexplainable reason, might as well listen to the full song :-)

Supercool ride, once again. Say ... what camera gear do you use? I notice that your videos are all crisp and well balanceds well as nicely color graded ... what's your secret? Stay safe!
@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV7 жыл бұрын
An old third inch Sony HXR 70P, water resistant and dust proof and the latest Sony Action cams because of their stabilisation. Yes I do Grade, although generally simply with not much effort.

I would love to go a for a long ride but my 690 is out of action...... again with electrical issues and a clogged fuel filter.
@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV7 жыл бұрын
Your electrical issue is most likely the high discharge coil? for the spark plug attached to the frame on the hrs of the bike. Take it off, and sand back the contacts with the frame and reattach. With fuel pump, its handy to get a 10 micron filter from Rally Raid Products and buy fuel pump from Rally Raid, which is a different brand.
@sirjolly817 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tips. I just put the golan 10 micron on and installed an external fuel filter just in case. The ground wire on the fuel pump was also just hanging on. I will check discharge coil next. Seems to be running a bit better with new fuel filters.

How come the sheepskin cover wore out? Everytime I saw you, even on asphalt, you were standing up! Must be kangaroo juice in the water bottles. ;-)

Always a bit strange, The Night Wolves are quite a problematic organisation and even though your partner might be nice to you I don´t know whether you really know with whom you are dealing
@DanielMores7 жыл бұрын
"Night wolves"(nationalist, anti-west, homophobe) were not mentioned ... but I can't read russian so it might have said so on a sticker or something.
@eberbacher0077 жыл бұрын
yes it is , listen starting at 7:50
@DanielMores7 жыл бұрын
my bad ... thanks. So what do you do in that situation? Bikers share a bond and help each other out. But at the same time, do you accept the help from people who you don't share any values with? Tough choice.
@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV7 жыл бұрын
I certainly didn't get that vibe. From the brief talks I had, they had government jobs, one was high level, were fiercely proud of being the traditional owners of the land, enjoyed nature, were not surprised I only knew one language, were proud they were well educated. No mention of anti-west, no mention of homophobia. At the end of the day you take people as you meet them, until you find otherwise. They were good to us. Didn't notice anyone jumping out of the way or avoiding them at the cafe we stopped at on the way to our accommodation.....a reaction frequently observed with our bikie gangs in Australia. I asked Renat about them, he believed they were not involved in criminal activity similar to western bikies groups, but rather were more like a club. At the end of the day you have to make judgements as to how you find people, and so does Renat and it is your combined feeling that determines what you do on the road and how you respond..
@eberbacher0077 жыл бұрын
Well then Renat quite sugarcoated everything he told you about them, even just reading wiki will tell you quite a bit en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_Wolves#Germany_and_Poland

Yeah, KTM is not a reliable motorcycle and very expensive too, well suited for good European roads, not Syberia))
@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV6 жыл бұрын
I don't agree. I thought the 990 did an excellent job. Handled well, was comfortable and had the power when I needed it. Finally it was reliable.
