The French Cup is mad as teams from oversea French territory enter the cup as well so you can travel to the other side of the world for a cup match. Like the other week where a team from the Caribbean got beat 12-0 by Lille. Lower league teams until a certain round will always get to play at home much like in the German Cup.

Guess the French Cup is similar to the Norway Cup. Started a similar "no badges/experience" save and got first job in 2nd tier there, first full season learn the Cup has two preliminary rounds and then everyone joins at once for a round of 128

Hello, French guy here, basically, contrary to the FA Cup for example, not every team enters the competition at once. The first two rounds are only 6th tier or below, then the 5th tier sides enters for round 3, 4th tier the next, 3rd tier the one after that. Ligue 2 sides enter at round 7 and Ligue 1 sides at the round of 64 (which is the 9th round if my memory serves me correct)

If you wanted to know to appease a depth issue it's squad status not star rating, side note hack sign a nobody on no wages but with star, important or first team status I would always go star and the promise will be completed sometimes you may need to sign two, then if you don't want the player terminate contract, hope Zealand sees this and it helps everyone one in the future.

The thing is it was lack of depth not quality. And the promise was fulfilled by signing Gomes on backup playing time, so I am not sure about your suggestion. It was probably that it needed to be a fully signed guy not a loan. If the concern had been lack of quality then your advice might work.

Please reread mine as well. Zealand signed Andre Gomes on Backup playing time promise (squad status) and it did fulfill the promise. He didn't sign anyone as star or similar. The GKs he had before or signed to try and fulfill the promise were loans (Zach Steffen as his starter and Withworth or how he was called). But Andre Gomes was full time - but as a backup. While Ramos was recalled from the reserves. But only Andre Gomes fulfilled it. So, your suggestion is good but not 100%, as Zealand's example shows you don't need star or important or first-team goalkeeper playing time to fulfill this. It probably helps, but not necessarily needed.@@maximusdecimusmeridius9359

The promise was fulfilled by signing Andre Gomes with backup playing time/squad status. As much as your advice is good, it is not necessarily true in all situations. Zealand had loaned goalkeepers, Zach Steffen was on loan, he signed a loan goalkeeper, but Andre Gomes was the first signing in regards to this promise who was fully contracted to the club. So, it seems it was the status of him being contracted to the club and not a loan that was the main deciding factor here.

Update on my journeyman inspired Z save: Got a South Korean team to 1st division first year 2nd year saved from relegation back to 2nd division (big quality jump between leagues) 3rd season got a top division Turkish team & got them into conference league Currently 4th season & want to challenge for title & go deep in conference league. Will probably leave after this season & see what I can get

Don't like the journeyman save. NAC and Saint Etienne are fun clubs to manage. Don't really want to watch Zealand move to Dortmund or a Milian club. Then finish the save with one of the Big Six English clubs. One club saves are more fun in my opinion.
