I´m new to the company and will teach my first lesson soon, but I must say that the freedom to speak ´´naturally´´ to our Sts is one of my favorite aspects of Magic Ears. Just as others have said before, no awkward pauses between slides/activities and the Sts seem to be much more engaged throughout the lesson. Great video!

I think we should not say phrases like "teacher April has a big box too" when it´s coming from teacher April. Teachers do this all the time, this is not correct speaking or grammar. We should say " I have a box too. I hear teachers say " look at teacher" it should be " look at me" or "look at the teacher" or I hear teacher say " teacher April will have a turn now" it should be " my turn now" or "now it´s the teacher´s turn". This is not correct grammar and we are creating a bad habit for our students to sound like robots. If its coming from the student it´s ok but not from the teacher to talk about him or herself. I thought teacher April was great, i really liked the way she taught the class. But i guess since I am bilingual, this little issue gets to me.

All if these teachers are guilty of voice dragging which caused me to fail my first trial. Magic ears gives conflicting messages and expects robotic and unnatural perfection from their teachers for the hiring process. The things we do for money......

I’m trying to understand the the details involved invoice dragging. Does April in this clip not voice drag? Or am I not understanding that concept well. Could someone give me some advice?

Transitional phrases makes it much easier for the teacher because 'Teacher Talk" is one of those 7 deadly ESL sins but it makes the teacher robotic in a sense.

It's not a problem if you can't stand! The important things are appropriate energy and illustrating it in a way that inspires the children to do it!
