Magic Made Easy and 400 Tricks You Can Do

In this video we take a look at two separate introductory books about magic. The first is Magic Made Easy by Larry Kettelkamp, published in 1954, and the second is 400 Tricks You Can Do by Howard Thurston, published in 1940. The first of these two books contains a number of very simple tricks and is meant to be read by a younger audience, while the second book contains 400 more advanced yet still introductory tricks. Hi! Larry Kettelkamp is my Grandfather, I'm his eldest grandchild. He passed about 8 months ago at the age of 90. It was wonderful to find your video outlining his book on magic. These simple tricks permeated his entire life. He shared them with his children, his grandchildren, and even some of his great grandchildren! He pulled out the sliding thumb trick at just about every family gathering. Imagination is one of our most powerful abilities as humans. Thanks for sharing it with the world!
