Ash, just got my X8. My weight is 105KG. Best tyre pressure would be? Mainly woodland and gravel paths. Bonza!

i get mine in a months time. Will drive mostly on gravel and a bit on pavement, /snow in winter. I weigh 134kg. What tire pressure do you recommend ? (from Norway)

Hi there, how exciting for you! You can find the Norwegian owner's manual for our powerchairs here: www.magicmobility.com.au/resources/?language%5B%5D=norwegian&resource_type%5B%5D=owners-manual . You can find all the information on tyre pressure on page 34. For your weight in the Extreme X8 the chart says you should be running at around 6.7 psi. You should lower this for use on soft terrains like snow and sand. You can also find lots of other helpful information in this document. I hope this helps and enjoy your X8!

Hello Ash! I should be getting my new X8 very soon...hopefully next week. I will be using it a lot at the beach. Should I use the lower tire pressure...like 4psi ?

Yes, it’s best to use a lower tyre pressure on the beach. Usually we recommend 3.5-4 PSI for soft terrain like sand, but it does depend on user weight.

I got my chair from va it needed bearings tires joystick and linear for seat rise on my v6 the rollers for seat lift had to be replaced and bearings again at 9 months the seat back broke 2 weeks later dumping me on my head while I was tilted do pressure relief the swing away joystick rest is garbage I’ve had 3 all terrain chairs in 10 years the biggest issues have been bearings armrests joysticks and the rollers in the seating for the linear I can’t find parts to for these chairs either I’m not dealing with the local distributor they did hack work on these to begin with that being said even though I have to fix my latest chair a lot I love it the seat is garbage I need to replace it and the armrests all the bearings and apparently a sensor in the rear of the chair has malfunctioned and now in limp mode can you get me a service manual and a parts list I can repair my chairs I use the old one to take Vetrans hunting here on my syrup-tree farm

I fully understand your pain. I too have found the arm rests, swing away controls and bearings an issue. I WISH YOU LUCK in getting a manual to fix your chair. Sadly I find like most companies once they have your money the after sale service ends. I have major power issues with my chair and I found it impossible to get help. Thankfully my son has helped me. All the best and I hope you get assistance.

Have you tried going back to the VA to have them send out a vendor to fix your chair? I've had to do that a few times plus they replace the batteries when needed.. These guys have always been really good to me and my chair. I live in the Seattle WA area.
