I tried psilocybin mushrooms when I was 17. I wanted to have a spiritual experience. I was depressed and wanted to know if there was more to life than what met the eye. As the mushrooms began to kick in and colors became bright and beautiful, I felt the need to be alone so I went and sat down by a pond under a tree. I thought about life and all that was oppressing me. I began to break down in tears as I muttered "I come before you dirt". As I lifted my head a swirl of wind began to pick up in front of me. The wind blew at me, it was warm and thick. All my thoughts and feelings suddenly made sense to me. Any thought that I had instantly made sense to me. I had what I would describe as a profound spiritual connection and awakening. Everything suddenly made sense to me. Problems with my family. My desperate longing for something spiritual in life. Who I was and wanted to be. Everything made sense and became clear to me. This experience really changed me in a beautiful way. I had never been so happy to be alive. So happy to get up early in the morning and experience each day and be with my friends. I developed a love for beautiful music like the harp, violin and classical music in general. I will never forget that experience. It truly healed me in a way that no other drug could. This experience changed my perspective in life in such a profound beautiful way. I thought about the world and why it is the way it is. I had another realization about the world as i focused on it. I was able to see that there is also evil in this world that affects us all. I won't go into detail about the spiritual attack that followed my spiritual awakening. But it was scary and I felt the need to hide in the forest to shelter myself from it. All in all, psilocybin changed my life for the better. If you are prepared and long for a spiritual experience. I highly recommend giving psilocybin a chance to change your life as well. :)

Absolutely true, bro. I tried psilocybin mushrooms for the first time at 27 years old and it changed me in profound ways. I had never known what real love feels like until that one night I was tripping at my friend's apartment. I felt a real sense of love for friends and family that brought me to tears and not many things get me to that point. My depression also dissolved away over time but there was definitely an immediate effect already in place. We need this medicine to be legal and accessible for people who need it. Neurogenesis is the key to treating/curing psychological disorders.

I tried it the first time last year, I lost both my best friends in 3 months and had to put my dog dog in between my friends deaths. I was so depressed, a customer of mine gave me 2 grams of TC(Treasure Cruise). I was hesitant because I’ve never had depression or any anxiety. I took them 1 night and everything clicked for me. Idk how to explain to but I’m depression is still there but it’s not as hardcore as it was. It’s a weird connection to where my friends went. They said l I’ll be ok and it’s not my time but they will be there when it is.

I'm old as f*ck. Vietnam vet, and that war changed my life in so many negative ways. Long-term, pretty severe PTSD, constant, almost crippling anxiety, leading to, at one point, being diagnosed with clinical depression. I spent nearly five years being almost completely homebound. Of course I'd heard of using psilocybin mushrooms recreationally, but that was it. And I had never tried them. Then I started seeing people talking about how these mushrooms had affected them, and decided to try it. While I didn't have the same guidance that you did, I was fortunate enough to know someone who has a lot of experience with them. To say that I found them transformative would be the biggest understatement of my life. The propaganda about these mushrooms is right up there with the propaganda about cannabis. I'm a completely different person now, and I do micro-dose regularly. They're amazingly therapeutic. I had, in a very real sense, reconnected with myself, and that connection has remained strong ever since.

Gave mushrooms to one of my former platoon sergeants in the marines who had pretty bad PTSD from Iraq. After his one experience, he immediately learned how to grow them so he could have his own medicine as desired. I won't write the details of his experience here but they changed his life. He stopped waking up screaming with a panic attack. Stopped getting panic attacks in public from crowds. Doesn't live in constant fear and pain anymore. He gets to live his life (semi) normally again. It boggles my mind that mushrooms are illegal but you'll be prescribed every antidepressant and drug that permanently changes your neurochemistry, and not necessarily in a positive direction. Thanks for making this video. I hope our legislators eventually stop betraying their constituents to big money industries (pharma) and allow for this medicine to become more accessible.

That is the problem I have now, I have more pills sitting on my table right now and told that if I want relief that is what is available. But it is changing me and not in a good way, I feel like I have lost myself and there have been times that the pain is so bad, you think to yourself that I would make a better organ donor than to keep living the way I am, I have seven and one half feet of titanium wires in my back and it is called a spinal cord stimulator, it is used to control some of the pain but not all of it, that is why I am considering letting a Nero surgeon go into my brain and try and stop the other pain, but it is very risky and is considered experimental surgery, I want to try the mushroom route first to see if it would reconnect the broken pathways and possibly start to heal them. Can you share the names and address of the people in Jamaica that I might contact them? I would like to give you me email if you have a private way to contact you. Thank you in advance. Marty

I did my first high dose a couple of months ago, around 6g. Safe setting with guides, eyeshades & headphones. Whenever i try to put words on the experience it undermines how powerful it was. The main theme of my experience was about life on earth, nature and my connection to nature. It was almost as if ”it” / ”the experience” was intentionally trying to teach me something. I had so many visions about the principles and perfection of the natural world and how I am connected to it. I remember thinking for days after: Nature is sending us a very strong, clear and undeniable message and it is high time that we listen.

I would highly recommend going out to some beautiful natural place with a few friends for an overnight camp, and sharing some mushrooms in a more casual way without guides and eyeshades and headphones. Connect with nature in a more organic way. I think you'll find it will take you to an even better place. I think you're right that something was intentionally trying to teach you something. I feel like fungus is a sentient thing, and does intentionally teach us. Some people believe that it was psychedelics that led us from being apes to being human. Of course I don't know if that's true, but I like the idea.

For some reason, synthetic and artificial things are sort of repulsive to me when I am tripping. I like to get away from those things for the best experience. Especially artificial light, coming from lightbulbs or screens is almost obscene to me. Fire light is the best. Sleeping bags are horrible. I like to bring a pile of blankets instead.

As for ADDICTION: I took about 4g of mushrooms at a friends house in Vermont. August 2019. Ive always been a “casual” cigarette smoker. Started at 17, and never went more than a few months without having one. Military, then security contracting, then (now) working in EMS. In 2019, I ate those mushrooms, and its the last day that I ever smoked a cigarette. Hers the trippy part…I didn’t eat the mushrooms to address my cigarette addiction, which was consistently irregular. meaning, if I saw a cigarette, I’d probably ask you for one. But, because most people think cigarettes smell like @$$, i smoked them (mostly) in private. Family has history of colon cancer. Correlation with cigarettes exist. I still kept smoking. Maybe I buy a pack, smoke half then throw it away, maybe I buy a pack and smoke 7 in a day. Just idiopathic. Except the fact that I always smoked. One day I realized that I hadn’t smoked one in a while, and thought nothing of it, as it was kinda normal. But one day, on my first day in EMS, my new partner is a chain smoking retired Fire Fighter. I felt nothing. And to this day, every single day since Aug 2019, is the longest Ive ever not smoked, since the 1st day I ever smoked. Mushrooms just “offed” that cigarette “on” switch. Amazing. I went through a bout of depression, and before I went to a friends house and ate 5g @ once every two weeks for 6 weeks, I asked my physician, my biology professor, my chemistry professor, and my father, who is Uber religious and against all chemicals compounds that alter your mind state….not one of them said it was a bad idea. *BIG PHARMA has entered the chat*. MUSHROOMS and Marijuana are two things that come out of the earth, and you dont have to enhance them in any way. And they both have healing properties. GOD LEVEL ENGINEERING.

My Dr made me take that test with the popsicle stick that you stick in the stool and send it off. (Not real pop sticks, ha) Anyway last monthe she says , "You got blood in urine" So? Do I have cancer or what? You gotta go for roto rooter. (Colonoscopy) I hate that. Had it done twice. Found nothing. But they cant see me till August. SO what? Im spose to walk around like Dead man walking? If I have it, I guess its eating me up. They shouldnt fill you with scare stories if they arent gonna do anything about it. Thats the government.I guess Ill wait, while it gets wrse.

Yep. I like how you never once say you "quit" smoking. You never mentioned a desire to quit. That is a truly profound thing. And for some reason it strikes me, and deeply resonates with me. I get the strong sense that you've never quit at anything. You're not a quitter. Not even a word in your vocabulary is it. LOL. That's a rare thing. We are cut from the same cloth my friend. You don't make much of your time enlisted other than to say you were. Then you went into contracting. So you are a professional. Now you are EMS. Not for the faint of heart. Life near the edge. Your profile pic looks like you are taking a stroll on the ocean floor. So were you with the Teams?

It was my birthday 33 to be exact on the same day the city of Vegas officially shut down with covid. Instead of drinking I dosed.. I lived all my abuse in the most beautiful way it showed me I'm more powerful than I would ever know. The mushrooms let me know I was a butterfly. Being a single parent the world was on my shoulders I was failing. Since I've quit smoking. Bought a house Been able to connect with myself and my autistic son on a much deeper level. This will truly change your life. My first experience with mushrooms changed my prospective on so many life issues such as compassion on the world's people I felt so connected to the poor the rich the downtrodden the hip the geeks suddenly they were my brothers and sisters I felt their joy pain elation fear their love for a new baby it will make you feel complete. With out the experience I would only be half the person I've been for the last fifty years. I shudder to think I could have missed out on the opportunity to experience what a little chemical could do to the breath and depth and beauty of the human mind is beyond what one could imagine. Well that was my little contribution to such a profound subject. try it under the right circumstances it will change your life

The only truth I know about these: The mushrooms have never lied to me. This has also meant that they have shown me aspects of my perspective and behavior that were flawed, which I was in denial of. I grow and take mushrooms myself, the same as you took, "Golden Teacher" (fitting name). They have helped me within the three months that I do so, more than the over 10 years of actual professional therapy. I mostly just relax and meditate to some nice music, or some nature sounds, and it really helped with my cPTSD and chronic depression. Four months ago, I was sleeping with a noose under my pillow... now I use the same rope to bind myself a little package with a towel every two weeks along a small mixture of lemon juice and dried and powdered mushrooms, some fruit and the like, and walk into the forest nearby to a little hidden safe spot of mine, butterflies in my stomach every time, because I know it will be intense, but healing. If these mushrooms weren't a thing, I might very well not be alive today.

Thank you so much for this video! I tried mushrooms with a close friend of mine up in the forest. We went hiking and went off the trail and found a beautiful Meadow where we sat and did the mushrooms. I had no idea what to expect. After about 15 minutes I started feeling ill, kind of nauseous which probably occurred because we ate the mushrooms on an empty stomach but that only lasted about 10 minutes and then I began to experience all the vibrant colors in nature all around me. I think the most intense and memorable experience was that I could actually detect and see the life force in every plant and every tree. I literally fell in love with the forest. And I had the Sensation that the forest was it love with me. That may sound strange to anyone who has never experienced psilocybin however I think this is the norm it's just that we don't see it. I realize that we really are at one with everything and at the center of that is a universal love that is beyond description.

Well, it's 3 a.m. here in Brazil. I'm awake after my 4th trip with self cultivated magic mushrooms. And I'm writing this to say: I'm so glad you made this video and that you put yourself through that experience. It has been life changing for me too. I have severe depression since I was a child. Just a few months back, before my first mushrooms trip, I was taking 9 pills every day: 200 mg sertraline, 150 mg bupropion, 400 mg carbamazepine, 50 mg quetiapine. Today, after these four trips, I am taking ONLY 150 mg sertraline and 25 mg quetiapine - and I feel I can further reduce the antidepressant. That means I went from 9 pills to 4. Basically with 3 mushroom trips. These things changed my life, and, as I cultivator, I want to take this experience to more people. Anyways... A big thanks and a hug from Brazil! ♥

I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety for most of my life. I’ve had years of psychotherapy and have taken traditional pharmaceuticals for this issue. As I got into my 50s, the anxiety advanced to panic attacks and all this was nearly debilitating. My parents both died from complications of Alzheimer’s. At that point, I became interested in psilocybin due to its neurogenic properties with the hope that it might slow the development of Alzheimer’s. I started a regime of micro-dosing, meditation, and occasionally taking a light preceptorial dose. Maybe there will be a benefit regarding Alzheimer’s (if I develop it), but a more life changing effect has occurred - my depression and anxiety has abated entirely. Thanks for a great video about therapeutic psilocybin use. I am also grateful for the work of Paul Stamets. Mushroom could change the world!

Yea it changed something in me I cant explain it. Im slightly autistic and have severe anxiety. After I did it the next morning I felt this wierd calm that I never experienced before. I kept saying to my parents something is different but i dont know what. It was a very good different though. Its been over 3 years and its still working although I think its time for another dose because that scary terrifying feeling anxiety can give is starting to come back. I think it should be studied more with people with autism.

I suffer from clinically diagnosed severe Major Depressive Disorder. I was on many anti-depressants battling side effects for many years. I then weaned myself off them (2006), which was nearly as bad as heroin and methadone withdrawal and moved to MAO inhibitors St John's Wort and then Passiflora. One day I came across some P.Cubensis and having studied them years before when at Uni wanting to be a Psychopharmacologist (around 1982 in Houston), I was able to safely identify and ingest them. I found immediate results and contacted MAPS recommending low dose psilocybin as an effective anti-depressant and also alerted my doctors of my experience. To this day the draconian and ignorant laws on this substance in Queensland, Australia, put me in more danger by its illegality than its use and I may be in peril just for this comment. Safe to say I can't ingest them anymore because of the legal peril yet the positive effects continue and I have been able to record music and write books and make huge progress. Thank you for advancing the frontier with your brilliant videos. 🙏😎

I’ve been doing this since I was 14 or 15, every once in while but with long intervals. We always went roaming around, was a trip every time. The way to go is an hour before dusk so you experience day and night and make sure you’re in nature with friends. This whole therapy thing and blue haired people makes it a bit cultish. Just take the things, go for a walk about and let them do the work. Adventure guaranteed...

Where it is desperately needed. It's been a few year since I last spent some time with this sacrament. It is one of the few gifts that really keeps on giving throughout our lives. I look forward to sharing some more time with this little fungi. Thanks again for uploading this for us. And remember kids, like we've been saying for almost seventy five years. It's all about "set and setting". Purity of plant and purity of intention produce the best results. Peace.

That's honestly my hope for me. I wake up with these low moods and sometimes spend all day trying to figure out why. Especially because I can think back to before I started experiencing this and wonder "what happened??" How was I able to be in the moment and not in my head before. Because its one like I was always euphoric, and everything was perfect....but I was for the most part in a general good mood. Then one day I just felt off...like something switched....anyway....its very difficult to put into words, but pretty much if I can wake up in a general good mood, without thinking of "what's wrong" for a whole week, that would be great

Hi Rob! Thanks so much for all your great mushroom videos! I did silly mushrooms almost 30 years ago with just me and my girlfriend in Sedona. It was the most incredible, amazing, spiritual experience where we both had plants talking to us and we saw the living Buddha in a 400-year-old tree!! I did them with a group in Texas and it was a magical mystery tour with loads of psychedelic living art. The 3rd time was with my wife in a cabin in Virginia. Thay all expanded my consciousness and made me feel closer to nature. I'm really feeling like it's time for a lot more expansion!!

I am pleased that this video included some comments about the experience out of doors! I can't imagine that being held in a room with a mask and earphones would be conducive of a good, effective experience. The mushroom brings the user into nature -- it opens a door into the universe. Shutting oneself in an enclosed space is a bad idea and contrary to the benefits the experience can provide to the user.

My first (but certainly not the last) mushroom experience was 15 years ago. I’d graduated from high school three days before and went out travelling Europe with my close friends. First stop Amsterdam, with the very specific goal to experience these golden teachers. I will not get into the details, but it wasn’t until many years later I realised that this one experience in Amsterdam in 2007 changed my life forever. It “rewired” me completely and gave me a more holistic view on life. It helped me untangle myself from the expectations of my family and society and helped me carve my own authentic path. I feel blessed to have encountered the golden teachers and have never ever regretted this decision. God knows how many sessions I’ve had since then. Perhaps 70-80? Many micro dosed sessions in party situations. Gives me clarity, heightened senses, no need for alcohol, and no hangover whatsoever. It’s healthy, it’s good for you. I sincerely hope that more people would encounter the magic mushroom. It would make the world a better place, undoubtedly.

I took psilocybe subaeruginosa in my early 20s in melbourne, I spent weeks asking online and friends where I can find them, I was very worried about eating the wrong ones, I eventually found a spot along the yarra river underneath some pinetrees with woodchip below, it was around may time, I was told I would find them in this area but I couldn't find any for days, but I keep going as I was told they will be there, one day I was looking and a stranger tapped me on the back and said "alot of hunters out today" I was like oh yeah I can't find any, he then spent the next hour or so showing me and teaching me what to do and what not to do and how to find them, we didn't end up finding any but I had new confidents that I will eveually find some, we went back to his car and he showed me a haul he had and gave me a few, he gave me a hug and he went on his way, I never seen him again, fast foward a couple of days after some rain and hot days I started to find them and I would continue to find them many days after and would dehydrate them at home and put in a glass jar and when I would look for them I would show others how to find them, I once run into a couple that was looking for them and I gave them a few I had found, they were very happy about it, I then ran into them again a few days later and they had told me they took them and went and seen alice in wonder land through the looking glass, they said it was amazing I gave them a hug and they went on there way, I would continue to do this helping others find them but I had not at the point done them yet, I then decided I would do them and then go for a walk along the yarra river, I found a spot on the opposite side of where everyone would walk or ride along the river, I sat down next to a man made waterfall and felt it slowly come on, wavy vision, very vibrant colours and when I would focus on something it would start to become geometric and everything in an odd way seemed to be connected it was a beauiful experience, there was a cliff face behind me and I wanted to climb it, so I started to and I got to the top I did this over and over again, it felt so good to climb, almost like I was a monkey, I sat back down near the waterfall and it felt like I could make the waterfall all around me, I was one with the water fall in a sense, the melbourne weather had changed and the sun was slowly going down and the clouds were coming over I started to walk home and this sense of darkness came over me and I had thought about my childhood and my realtionship with my mum, I have struggled with her and her addiction with alcohol my entire life, at this point I had not spoke to her in months as it was my attempt of hoping she would get help if I would not talk to her until she did, I became very emotional and the clouds were getting darker and I was by myself in the middle of the bush, my phone rang and I looked at it and it was my mum, I freaked out and thought I will just let it ring out but this thing came over me and I answered it and everything I have wanted to say came out, I was in tears and it felt like demons were removed from me and it felt so good, all this weight from years had been removed and I felt I was on the right path to make a better me, I will never forget this and changed me so much permantely, I became more kind, less angry and accepting its ok to love people and for them to love you back.

I think this video is enlightening for many people and he puts in a very technical way to describe it , his taking his stress out he was freeing his mind from worries from stress from society , by taking something that really helps to see everything in a different way , u come back laughing of things that anoy u and u ask yourself why , because you simply let your mind grow . You get rid of your ego you simply grow as a person .

I ♥️ 🍄! They're great! I've never had a bad experience with mushrooms. To be fair, I mostly did them in college hanging out with my hippy friends...it was fun to go day tripping around campus and hang out on the quad and stuff. I had a ton of insightful conversations with smart people, and gained perspective I'd never have otherwise had. I'm 41 now, and recently I've had the chance to eat mushrooms several times in the last couple of years. It has helped me again to understand life and my place in it a little bit better. As someone who has been thoroughly broken by the corporate world and lives with depression and anxiety, I can absolutely say that regularly (monthly or so) incorporating a strong mushroom tea into my chemical diet has helped me reframe what's important in my life and how I want to spend my remaining productive years. Spoiler alert...nothing in my corporate hellscape is important to me, and I don't want to spend my remaining productive years being stressed out by it. So, I'm just not gonna be. I don't need any more money - I'll just waste it on more stuff or some ultimately unnecessary and ephemeral service. I have everything I need - a modest and cozy little house, an incredible family with a lot of love among us, strong and fulfilling friendships, a full belly, and a physically safe environment. Mushrooms did what a lifetime of conventional treatment couldn't. Plus they're free and grow all over the place in nature. They're only illegal because if they were legal nobody would have any reason to buy prescription drugs from pharmaceutical companies...they'd just eat mushrooms that grow abundantly all around us instead! So, yeah...mushrooms...5 stars, recommend!!

He is Omniscient, so He must have known what would ensue, right? Don't worry so much. It all comes out in the wash. I don't know but I've been told the streets of heaven are paved with gold.

I love this! My only thing is saying its medicine is like saying their is something wrong with you. And some people may have issues they are working through, but my take is these are natural things growing out in the wild that we could be consuming as we do any other beneficial thing in nature. If we were consuming these to begin with maybe people would be able to address their fears and troubles in the here and now. Instead of internalizing for lifetimes. And I dont mean something is bothering me lets get high. I mean the the higher awareness of being able to see that "x" is the issue and "y" is my internal solution. This could be a game changer for countless individuals.

I have had good and bad mushroom trips, I recently had some very strong body high mushrooms that made me feel uncomfortable and have anxiety for 6 hours straight, (i suffer from anxiety and depression) and before that I had a different strain and they were more visual and less intense body high, much better in my opinion, but every time good or bad I always have like 3 or 4 days straight where im super happy and energetic, and I always get taught something from the mushrooms, it honestly has changed my life also, I respect the mushroom and Its a wonderful tool and mentor.

I have been interesting in this topic for quite long time, I believe that this little mushroom has the power to make you observe things in different way, and it is amazing that there are places where they can walk you through to take them with purpose and intention. I have read so many healing testimonies and maybe one day I will go for it, people has the right solve issues, to improve, to heal, to overcome fears and this tool can help everyone. What I am learning is that you should include a purpose especially if you want to embrace the healing aspect of the mushroom, according to what I heard is like preparing for a journey, I guess there are a lot people doing for recreational purposes but there are much more people seeking to get some sort of inner peace. Anyways I found fantastic taht these little guys can help you, somehow I'm preparing to try, not sure when/where but maybe I will try it, first of all I had to find the right people around me for that.

@@trevornelson61 you can absolutely be alone, I prefer to be alone to let my imagination run wild instead of having to engage in a conversation with someone else. It may be a little nervy, so you can always start with a smaller dose so you don't lose sense of reality completely. Make sure you are outside in nature and away from strangers and remember to lean into whatever experience you're having.... never resist. Have fun, you won't regret it

Most people don’t realize that there’s a myriad of different gifts from the earth and mushrooms are one very interesting tool to be connected to our modern primitive selves. The experience is personal but also is deeply connected to one that is shared. This duality is what people are talking about when they mention the spiritual side that opens using this tool. It’s also worth noticing that there’s many different varieties of mushrooms with healing properties, so look forward to experiences that are even more controlled by utilizing the different types that are becoming more available.

it helped me to get over many of and also to face my fears. got me over many of my childhood traumas which i suppressed previously. it made me realize some unhealthy habits i was doing and also made me see things more clearly about how i was hurting myself and how i didnt realize it. also how we lie to ourselves, and about nature. it helped me to see my ego, and i ended up learning so much that i modified my behaviour a lot to avoid negative habits and ways of thinking. i used to be anxious and depressed quite a lot. and now thats all gone. many decades of therapy all in a short time. i am quite happy and i regret that i didnt find this medicine sooner.

I grow my own mushrooms. All different varieties and once a year I grow a bunch and take a herculean dose and enjoy a nice trip. I always feel like my brain has been defragmented to some extent. I take prescription medications for anxiety and depression but mushrooms help me the most. I personally don't do micro dosing not until it is legal in my state and others. But I have to say mycelium is amazing and growing mushrooms drying them and enjoying them is my favorite way to enjoy them.

@@thorny3218 Tom that is funny and interesting how we both view the experience. Even my brothers explain it the same way. It takes the spiritual aspects of being a physical human and brings together our brains experiential cognitive processes. Over time our brains become somewhat disorganized and the experience of a "trip" brings together the disorganization into a more coherent cognitive function with each part of our brains being activated and in a sense defragmented. For some reason I always felt that way and I am glad you too experience that sensation and description of the experience. It shows we both experience it the same but at the same time it is different for each person.

I first tried mushrooms a few months after my eighteenth birthday. My first experience was a microdose to ease me into psychedelics and I noticed what felt like to put it in the simplest way possible like a really really strong edible. Colors were bright and vibrant and I felt a ton of euphoria and basically really high. I would microdose a few times before the big trip. The day came one summer and I took 5 grams by myself feeling confident I could handle it. The experience was beyond belief with intense euphoria, warmth, and insane visuals. I stayed up all night and had quite possibly the best experience of my life. However later would come the bad trip. I again decided to do mushrooms by myself (cuz I’m anti social) got cocky and took 4 grams by myself. This time things went well for a bit until I started to feel a little anxious and nauseous. I don’t quite remember when things went wrong but I remember feeling really hot and itchy in my clothes. I began taking off my clothes and was convinced I had poisoned myself with bad mushrooms and I was dying. What followed was anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour of complete panic and bargaining for my life. I don’t really know how long it was but then I woke up and it was the most terrifying thing I’ve ever experienced. The morale of the story is make sure u r in the right environment to trip. What I shared was a fraction of how crazy tripping truly is and how exhausting it can be. If u have a good trip it can be like heaven, but a bad trip is pretty damn close to hell and honestly changed me forever both for good and bad. Safe tripping ppls

I took 200 liberty caps when i was 15, had a wacky 8 hours that set me up for life. Still, I haven't felt the need to repeat the experience and I am now 57. Many I know did and it hasn't worked out too well for them. So long term use probably not a good idea. I can see taking them might break the cycle of rumination/depression though.

I had a drink problem, I didn't drink any more than the average person in the UK, no one would have described me as an alcoholic. However I had suffered from depression and anxiety for years and I would drink with friends to feel better. Mushrooms helped me to realise that drinking was making me better, in fact it was adding to the issue. Mushrooms helped me to quit drinking completely and quit smoking . In turn I was able to process the deep feelings I'd be escaping from by drinking and comfront my mental issues. I now consider myself a happy person and I've been sober for nearly 4 years.

I'm a chronic pain sufferer (head-on motorcycle accident) & have the accompanying depression. I grew & used magic mushrooms (penis envy) first dose 2g, fourth dose 7g. The experience was filled w/ nausea & diarrhea & the visions were not pleasant. However, the next day I felt psychologically MUCH better; most of my depression was gone. But what shocked the socks off of me was that my pain level had dropped, SIGNIFICANTLY. Years previously an occupational therapist told me that anger, & depression, are at the core of pain response (they trigger. & sustain pain); she was right. For a whole year after using magic mushrooms my chronic pain was low, very low. I'm not so impressed w / the experience of being 'on' them, but the after effects are AWESOME. I'd do it again, but in a group setting w/ guidance. My own prep (a week of clean diet and visualizing intention) didn't go far enough.
