Geez... .reading all of these comments it's clear that most of you just don't get it. First off, this was not presented as the most amazing Rubik's Cube solve/magic. It's a free tutorial (e.g. does not cost you a thing) of a decent trick that does not require you to spend the next year learning some special slight. I kind of like this trick AND I can solve the cube AND I have Steven Brundage's Cube3 (purchased from Penguin Magic). FYI - Brundage does not use any gimmick of any kind. He just has unique ways of solving the cube one-handed and/or behind his back (or in a paper bag). He spent years and YEARS honing and developing his skills with the cube to reach his current level of expertise. Don't have several years to devote to studying the cube, then Jarrk:120's version here is just the ticket.
@josegamez8210 жыл бұрын
The effect looks pretty cool. There's no need to skin an extra cube though. You can have one and simply buy the extra stickers.

The only problem with that sticker configuration is the trick will fail immediately if someone familiar with cubes sees a blue and green sticker on the same cube since those are suppose to be on opposite sides of the cube. There's another version of this trick that's examinable afterwards, but requires a little more slight of hand.

Before learning this I either thought illusionist Doug henning used a topit by Patrick page to do a switch out idea or use a shell then she'll goes up the sleave or the side with a pully system or they actually made a erno Rubik's cube that can solve it self automatically by bat try operating ideas once you hit a tini switch or button
@rapture2110 жыл бұрын
If I remember correctly Criss Angel's trick wasn't even this complicated. He just used a specially bought spring loaded Rubik's Cube that has a 3 move algorithm and then when you let it go it snaps into place and solves itself. That's why he threw his in the air. To prevent people from seeing it solve itself.

Rubik's Nightmare saves messing up your cubes and can be fully examined and allows you to pull off a similar effect.
@drtroyturner74646 жыл бұрын
Why would you have white as the foil when it is a great checkpoint of finished cube with titled center. Isn't the other side orange less valuable and the one to leave a mess? Also for those that inverted is Greek, you can color coordinate your mess to get back in track with little memorization. For example the green that is added to messed up green needs to move 1 move away from green, blue one from blue and your center mess the only one that goes other direction but again away from its organized color. Solve is just reverse order and now the mess color toward itself. I had to come up with this because I once ruined an instant cube by forgetting my turns. My latest method can't be forgotten because it's 3 moves that are secretly color coordinated.

Wouldn't it be good to have one white side that is correct and one random side on the opposite side? (have the bottom side full white, and the top side scrambled with a white center) that would give the illusion that they actually saw the white side solving itself. (Perhaps this is just overdoing it though) xD

nicewhiteglasses Some of those videos are fake some are not and at some you can`t tell, the point is that you only can say that the times at the world records or those competitions are legit and there for only those are relevant.

Warsrecker All the people who did (that we actually care about) are reputable, and they always use official timers for the solves. Although yes, they all agree that it means nothing outside of a competition, other than to tell people, "Hey, this is an easy scramble: [scramble algorithm]"
