Magic the Gathering Winchester Draft Tutorial

Yeah then it's called Winston draft. In this case you usually would also only build 3 piles instead of 4. Takes longer to draft but players only know some of the cards that their opponents pick.

If you want to mitigate the problem of hate drafting (i.e. picking cards that an opponent would need) you can just draft with the cards face down. This is then called Winston Draft (google for more information). It takes longer but every player at most knows 2/3s of their opponents cards - if they have a good memory.
