I have Cerebral Palsy in my hands because of my Spina Bifida and these are the first peelers I've had an easy time using. I just got done peeling carrots and potatoes for a crockpot soup and was about as quick as my dad would have been doing the job. I'd say they work but I have only peeled with them so far but they work well for that. I'm happy with my $3.00 purchase.

I've seen the video on Facebook with the man demonstrating these and quite stupid I went and purchased them, they have literally just come today I have not tried them yet, I could kick myself because I've now seen them on eBay brand new for like £2 and I brought these for £14 so angry at myself😣 the same kind of packaging as yours, just stuck on a piece of red card with very flimsy description on the back, they call him them the "Powerlance Peeler and Slicer" with the new double edge serrated blade especially helpful for those with arthritis, I only have one good working hand so I'm hoping they work for me😦 watching your video they did work but at the same time you were struggling and now that would that's worrying me, things are never what they seem are they.
@SuzyQUK4 жыл бұрын
If you watch the original video the 3 colours are for three different functions. Black is the peeler, blue is the mandolin/slicer and red is for julienne. That's why they are struggling - they are not using them correctly.

My order came in yesterday. I tried to make zucchini noodles and I don't like them. At the start, it cuts quite well, but when you get to half way, you don't know where to hold the zucchini and I had a lot of left over parts that weren't made into noodles. Unless you save the end pieces and use them for something else, it's such a waste. Demonstrations I saw, this video and a few others, showed only the beginning of the cut and I had no idea it would be impossible to cut the (almost) entire zucchini . I regret buying them.

I like my peelers but I have to admit, when you use the small peeler to make thin slices of carrot, or when you julienne or make long strips with the other one, you always end up with a nub that you gotta cut with a knife anyways.... so I kinda feel like it’s a waste of time to use the peeler/slicer when I’m just gonna have to use a knife in the end anyways.... And be careful- I’ve caught my knuckles a few times trying to figure out how to best hold them... ouch!
